Bedford meet...COMPLETE SUCCESS to me at least. My goal that night wasn't so much to pick up women, but was to get more comfortable in social situations. mainly it was to socialize with you guys and while I started off same as always, I opened up more and more, and then...I opened a set that just went HORRIBLE I told the story wrong, tripping over my words and shit. but for whatever reason, that set just fired me the fuck up! I don't even know why...everyone was trying to cheer me up about it but hell, I wasn't bothered by it at all, I was wired. a shame this didn't happen earlier because my energy was through the roof, I felt I just had to get out of that venue and go somewhere else. I felt that I had lowered my value by walking around aimlessly all night looking bored and shit. so I needed a venue shift. we then went to Pete's but I think we just got there too late, and most everyone was paired up and those who weren't were in front of the piano at the tables...I couldn't hear shit there. the only area that you can really talk is at the bars and well...not many sets were there. I love Pete's but I'm thinking it's better suited for day 2s

I'd agree about Pete's being bad for talking to strangers. Everyone is focused on the music and not milling around being social.
