Here goes my first field report...

I went to the Gingerman last night to try out an opener I'd been contemplating for a while (it's probably been done before, but I didn't read about it online, the idea just came to me). All I did was put on two types of cologne, one on my right wrist, the other on my left wrist. My goal was to approach as many sets as possible and ask for their opinion on the cologne. I only ended up approaching two.

The first set was a group of 3 girls, they looked fairly bored and ended up being really receptive to the opener. I ended up spending most of the night talking to them, they also introduced me to two more of their friends over the course of the night.

At one point a couple of them went to the bathroom, and I was left sorta sitting there like a loser, so I decided to wander around. I approached another set of 2 girls, I think I may have been too direct because at first they gave me sorta weird looks, but again when I asked them which cologne they liked more they got really into it. After getting their opinion I moved on because I felt like I had given off a weird vibe by approaching too directly.

I headed back to the first set where they introduced me to their other two friends, one of which was giving me some crazy IOI's and I did nothing like an ass (hand holding, touching my leg). At the time my thinking was that it probably wasn't a good idea to make a move on a girl in front of 4 of her friends in the Gingerman (the Gingerman doesn't have that club vibe going on :) ). I ended up talking to them until they left (yeah I know I shoulda left first, but I was comfortable where I was sitting). I don't want to sound arrogant, but I think they really enjoyed the interaction; them leaving was kinda awkward because I think they expected me to ask for their numbers; In the end I did get one of their numbers, and said I would call them if I did something interesting later in the week.

Overall it was an OK night, I'm disappointed in myself for not approaching more sets, but at least I made some approaches since I think that is my main problem. Also next time I need to do it with less alcohol (I wasn't plastered, but I did have a couple of pints).

It's all good man. everyone has bad nights now and then.
Yesterday, I didn't get much done at all.

I went out with Howie and Justice. We headed to friend of Howie's little sister's for halloween party. It was kinda awkward there. It is just some regular house party a little get together. Some of 'em cool as shit and the others weren't really up to meet new people.

We then headed to Sherlocks. Of course, cock fest and lots older women. For some reason, I like girls who are younger than me lol. I don't like it when girls are more than just few years older than me.

Howie and his friend finds 2 cougars and goes for it. All I saw there were fat girls, amazon girls, and old girls. I was pretty disappointed and didn't approach any. I was already out so I and justice just headed back.

So yeah, there are some bad nights for everyone. Don't worry bout it.

P.s. You might do better at other venues. If you didn't do good at gingerman, try other places. I tend to do whole lot better at some places while I don't at the others. I guess I click with some places because I like the atmosphere? I donno. Anyways try other venues for change. It might help. For me, I don't think I ever did great at Sherlocks. Looking back, my frield reports from sherlocks weren't that satisfying.

Start with cougars.. then fuck there cubs! :) I believe the cologne opener is Style but it's Gold either way.. My newest form of approach if i'm by myself is acting like i'm on the phone then immediatley opening after the phone call with an opinion of "blah blah I just had this conversation with my friend" .. OR if you have a wing and you see a potential set near you start speaking in your club voice and just say ".. I'm not sure.. let's get a group opinion.. (then direct your voice towards the set) and say.. hey let's ask them.. go in smiling :)
