FR: Anime Convention
Posted: Sat May 31, 2008 11:46 amSo, last night I had a day2/3/4/5/6 whatever with HB Coke Head (she's a coke head, hence the name). Anyway, coke habit aside she's a cool chick. Very much down with anything I throw at her, the more sexual the better. I'm not going to get into details, because that's not my style with complete strangers, but I assure you the things this girl does will blow your mind. Trust me on this...
Moving forward. She comes over to my place around 8:30ish. We have a couple of drinks, she does a line of coke, I text other girls, all the while I'm looking for something to do. Eventually I find a band that I like that's playing at The Doublewide in Deep Ellum. So, off we go.
The Doublewide was pretty lame, but the people there are interesting. You know, the whole counter culture thing...I love alternative looking women and had I not been with HB Coke Head I would have pulled this little hottie with blue hair. Anyway, I got tired of waiting for the band and we closed up and headed out. I drive through Deep Ellum towards downtown. My initial thought is that we'll go to Mantus or O Bar or Bliss. Then, as we're driving through downtown I see our new destination:
Me: "What the fuck is going on here?"
HB Coke Head: "I dunno...but...what are these people wearing!"
Me: "Holy shit this is hillarious! Is that person dressed up as a pickle?"
So, I slow the car down, roll down the window, and ask one of these alien looking creatures what's going on:
Anime Freak: "It's an Anime convention!"
Me: "Really? They have those...where at?"
He points at the hotel and walks away.
I turn to HB Coke Head:
Me:"Shit! We just found what we're doing tonight!!"
We park and then walk in. Just to get an idea of the scene, here's what people were dressed like:

Please note that this was the best of the best! I repeat the best of the best.
So, we're taking it all in and we notice that everyone keeps going to a conference room. Being the curious individuals we are, we follow. We get to the door and the bouncer, even writing that makes me laugh, stops us:
Pathetic Excuse for a Bouncer: "Where are your badges?"
Me: "Badges, for what?"
Pathetic Excuse for a Bouncer: "You need a badge to get in..."
Me: "Ok. How do I get a badge?"
Pathetic Excuse for a Bouncer: "You can't..."
Me: "Funny. What if I let my girl here touch the head of your penis, would that be enough to get us in?"
Pathetic Excuse for a Bouncer: "Fuck you!"
Me: "Wow! I'm just trying to help you out...I get in and maybe you get off. Ok, ok. I'll let her touch your entire dick...all three inches. What do you say?"
Pathetic Excuse for a Bouncer: "Yeah, well you probably love I'm a Ninja." Then, he laughs hysterically like I just got severely burned. I'm not even sure what he said to be honest, but I'm pretty sure he referenced some sort of anime crap.
Me: "Wow. You have really no idea what a loser you are do you?"
Pathetic Excuse for a Bouncer: Still laughing...
I figure these people can't be that smart otherwise they would have made better life choices then getting so caught up in anime that the walk around downtown Dallas wearing some fucking costume quoting cartoons. I survey the room and notice an exit door that leads to the same ballroom. HB Coke Head and I walk over and wait for it to open. Then, we walk in. Absolutely no resistance. Like I said, these people are fucking idiots.
This is what we see. A dark room with a bunch of people holding glow sticks. And of course the band called Versailles a Visual Kei band of some sort, I did my research. Here's their Myspace page:

Yeah. Creepy huh? These guys sound like a really, really bad version of Rush. And we all know how cool those guys are...insert sarcasm here. There are some Metallica influences and the music isn't that bad save for the fact that it's not even in English for Christ's sake!
I notice some girls are sitting on people's shoulders, so I hoist HB Coke Head (she's on coke so she's thin) onto my shoulders so she can check out the myth, the legend known as Versailles! Then I get approached my some Anime Lesbian type:
Anime Lesbian: "Get her off your shoulders."
Me: "What? I can't hear you, they ROCK!" Then I let out a yelp...
Anime Lesbian: "Put her down!"
Me: "Is that the name of this song?"
Anime Lesbian: "Put her on the floor!"
Me: "Is that the name of the next song? Must be a two part ballad or something!" Another yelp..."Versailles I want you to suck butter out of my ass!"
Anime Lesbian: "Hey asshole...set her down...get her off your shoulders!"
Me: "Why? Are you jealous that my head is so close to her pussy?"
Finally she leaves and shortly thereafter I put HB Coke Head down. We need a drink so we head out in search of booze.
We find it!
At the bar I strike up a conversation with a chick that's dressed like Sailor Moon, I forget which one...didn't really care. I would say she was an HB 7 even hotter because of the costume. Like I said, I like alternative looking chicks and she fit the bill.
Anyway, I get HB Coke Head and HB Sailor Moon to start talking. They're totally hitting it off and I trust that HB Coke Head (who is bi-curious) can successfully game her. I run to the bathroom. When I come back they're waiting outside of the bathroom with me and tell me that we're getting out of here...all three of us!
You see, the convention is in a hotel...HB Sailor Moon isn't from Dallas (Phoenix I think)...she's got booze in her room...she's got a room in the hotel...she's alone. Hmm, do the math!
We get back to her room. She's admittedly a little weird. I mean she's got action figures and other weird costumes and magazines and comic books and one of these:

And, of course anime porn. After the anime porn made its entrance, the night became surprisingly normal. I'm not going to get into details, but I'm proud to say that I've nailed a stripper, a model, white chicks, asian chicks, indian chicks, black chicks, a lawyer, numerous students, an artist, an opera singer, a teacher, a couple of bosses (girls), etc, etc.
Now, this morning, I can add cartoon character to the list!
