so, last night...I bombed...opened 4 sets total and they all failed miserably. when I got there, I was so pumped up, but, In the end, I couldn't get into a good frame. I did so much better at Duke's and Pete's and I think it's that I'm just more comfortable there and it's not nearly as loud as those other venues. I can't use this as an excuse, though. I need to sarge in loud venues as well as the not-so-loud venues, so I'm going to pick up books on lip-reading. also I have an issue with loosening up and looking like a fool and not caring about it...(IE: Dancing) Good thing, though is I am starting to find my identity. (how was my clothes??)
ok...now it's after 2am and we're leaving, I get to the parking garage and realize somethings missing... something really important...what is it? My car! damn, now where the hell did I put it?? it's not where I *thought* I left it...so I left the garage and try to find another garage (I just *knew* that I parked on the 2nd level) and it was near the stairs, it wasn't there so it *must* be in a different garage, so I'm wandering all over downtown trying to find a parking garage that I might have parked in...after 20 minutes of searching, I figure I might want to go back to sundance and go up a few more levels, at some point, I looked down, and saw a $20 bill (Awesome! that sorta makes up for a lost car, though I'd rather have my car than $20) walked a few steps further and saw yet another $20 (!!) they were pretty close and the wind wasn't that strong so I think maybe there's more scattered around that street. the "Epic search for my lost car" turns into a sidequest to find scattered $20 bills. I found *ahem* $120 in all! so now it's 2:45 and I'm heading back to Sundance... and go up to level 3 and ... there's my car... yeah...but at least I got $120 out of that ordeal
