First approach at fitness club!

Ok.. I want advice.. I'm good looking guy. I've always had AA, especially if I'm getting buying signals!!! Haha.. and just kind of don't know what to say. So I always stumble into girls.. I've had HOT GFs. I don't know how.. because, I always sit there with a beer in my hand looking cool.

This is my first approach ever... or since joining:

I was at lifetime the other evening... and locked some eyes with this hottie. Which has been happening alot lately. But, I puss out. So, anyways.. I've got this routine where between every weight set I towel off and go get water. So, I was looking on the way some. Haha. Probably thought I was stalking.. but, I'm consistant.

Anyways... 7 trips later. I finally ball up and go over and smile. I say.. you look really familiar.. I think maybe I know you.. and tilt my head to the side. Then I go... Redsox or Yankees??? And she gets this shocked look on her face.. like it's a trick question. And she isn't sure if there will be consequences for answering wrong. So... I'm like ok, maybe not.. does your name start with an M.. Mandy, Mindy?? She answers no... so, I go.. oh, well you have twin. She smiles and laughs and wants to know about the twin. So, I explain that she was cool and that we had hit it off... talking about the redsox. So.. I ask her name... and of course she asks mine. Then I get quiet. She Q&As... do you normally work out at night, etc.. goes into how was your holiday.. and I'm able to find out she works there and also a marketing girl for liquor company. She hasn't been that good about working out.. but, she is trying.

I didn't close.. I was like cool.. well, run into you another time. Wish I would have.. I was going to come back and be like.. hey I've got to go, but, wouldn't mind bsing again. How can we continue our conversation? But, after I talked to her.. other guys started to.. Weird, huh? So figured she wouldn't give me # with other guys there.

Better believe I will try and turn it up next time. ( Any suggestions from the Vets? ) This was my first approach since joining. But, thought I'd toss it out for you guys. She did really look like a girl I had met. I was able to convince myself mentally to pretend she was.... though I knew she wasn't. Damn she was a 10... beautiful!

should have closed.....if shes asking you questions and she is investing herself in the conversation she is attracted---or at the least interested. now without rapport and comfort the close may have been a flake, but it would have damn sure helped out your ego to know you can close a bitch at the gym on your first shot.. well done all and all- one point of tip, get out of your own head, don't think so much about it and just run with things you clearly have some inherent talent, use it and believe in it. you'll find it will come up more than you would assume otherwise

Always close! She was giving you a lot of personal information and as Craig says "It's always on." That doesn't mean you have to close in a "date way" could always use, "you seem interesting, we should grab some Starbucks sometime" and close. In my AFC days, I would wait until next time. With hot chicks there almost never is a next time.

And if there is a next time, you should sarge like there isn't.

You might see her again, but the spark/mood/situation might be gone. You gotta keep that ball up in the air otherwise it's fizzle city.

Get your routine stack down better. Get a few good DHV stories to tell when it gets quiet.

And this isn't a total failure. You know where she works out. You know she works out at night. And now you are not a stranger or some random guy.

Close her next time you see her. There WILL be a next time if you make it happen
