1/28 Purgatory First Field Report!

Hey guys, just got back from Purgatory about 2 hours ago. This was my first American (not Cancun, big difference) club that I've been to. I went to the Liz Lounge a year ago and wasn't really a fan...shitty DJ, had to pay a fucking $20 cover, it was bullshit. Anyway, purgatory was definitely a crazy experience for all of us newbies. I finally understand what Mystery means when he says that the dance floor is a trap,lol

When going in I had my goals set that I was going to do 10 approaches, I had seen the pics from the website and have to say that in reality the place was much smaller than I thought. No matter, I feel that I got some really good experience in the whole club setting. Although I can understand why a lot of guys on here hate club game. Because the music is so loud that its barely any opportunities to open without getting "WHAT??" from the set, and in order to really WORK IT your game, along with your frame, needs to be tight as hell.

I got to meet a lot of you guys, although I'm definitely having problem connecting the names to the handles, lol, for another time! ;)

Overall I, along with the other newbies, were pretty crippled by AA the first part of the night, damn AA is like fucking jumping out of a plane! However, by the end of the night I'm proud to say that we were all doing approaches. I got about 6 in. I definitely have to give props to my man Sweet Pure though! He was the first of us to successfully approach and dance with someone. After seeing SP dancing with this big fine piece of chocolate (Whoo, TYRA BANKS! lol), After about an hour I was really motivated to start approaching and after about 4 of them I had my first pull. I there was a 2 set dancing together (HB 6.5 HB 7.5) and I knew that if I wanted to successfully hook I would need to convey a strong and confident frame or I would blow myself out. So, I walk behind HB 7.5 and take hold of her and start dancing. As soon as I start I whisper in her ear something cocky funny like "Just promise you wont break my heart" or something like that. I definitely nailed the opening, and she complied with me and started dancing. As soon as we started dancing I saw her friend HB6.5 who was dancing with her adjacently. If I was in state at any part of the night it was now. I knew what I wanted, all I needed to do was to take it. Immediately I move in and start dancing with her friend(HB6.5), as soon as HB 7.5 see's this she's like "oh no he didn't!" and starts grinding me from the back. In retrospect I think I could have enticed HB 7.5 more if I just went straight for her friend making her even more jealous. If only I could have kept my frame and used my social proof that I had at the time I could have started dancing with the other girls in proximity. I diddnt dance with them for that long, I think about 1 song, I was acting as if I was just walking to find my friends and wanted to dance. After ejecting I told them that they were fun, and they complied with some IOI's and one of them telling me that I was bad ass (If she only knew what was going on in my head, whew haha). I think I could have definitely found them again, however; I think my AA prevented me from, because I was afraid that I'd look needy, or I'd fuck up my social proof with these girls (whom I'd probably never see again, lol) but overall I think tonight was pretty successful for my first time.

If anyone could give any words of wisdom to night game and what going through these introductory stages of PU is like, or any advice would be awesome! :)

You don't go from 0-60 in 0.1 seconds. It takes a bit time.

Yeah I saw you really enjoying urself between the 2 ...nice work man!...I just opened one girl last night...it was a 2 set, the target first gave me a nice lil smile so I moved in....danced with her from behind for like 1 song and then she and her 6' tall friend just took off....after that I couldnt pull my self together....so no more approaches....lol...

But I must say, Man of the hour was Godsend....this dude was on fire...juggling 3 girls at a time...

Sorry guys for the bullshit @ the door. I wasnt pleased with that at all, but I WAS glad to see ya'll out there. It was my first time winging with GS. Dude he was a fucking machine! it was like 145 and prodigy and I were exhausted. we asked GS if he was ready to go and he looked at us like we were fucking nuts! then charged into sets

sounds like you guys had a blast.
I wish I could've gone but we were shorthanded and very busy at work.
I am sorry to all that I told I could go, sorry I let you guys down.
But on a lighter note, if I went last night, I had a possibility of dying, today when I left for Northpark mall I got a blowout not even half a mile away from where I live.
So all day I have been dealing with this tire crap.
But shit happens, and I would much rather this happen less than a mile from my house then somewhere on I30.
Ill try my best to be there next time tho!
