sorry I didn't go to the evernt in ft worth. I felt i needed to work on some things. I love going out with a large group of people.....but noticed I stood around and talked to all you guys thursday and didn't do many approaches so i wanted to go out solo and force myself to approach more. i read some of captain jacks stuff and stole a few lines from him that were pretty good.

1. when women complimented me I said "You're just saying that to get in my pants" it was hilarious to see their reaction.

2. I stole his routine about ....hey do you know how to cook? good...do you have cable? good so when you get home from work and start cooking me dinner I can update you on the soaps. used it 2 times. the second time i didn't get past can you cook because it turns out she owns a bakery and wen crazy talking about how she can cook. got her number.....hot blond and she ownes a bakery. pretty cool.

For the first time I actually made some notes on a small piece of paper with soem lins and reminders. Only looked at it once at the club but was good idea, because i always forget stuff.

Once chick kept complimenting me and was dancing with me and seemed really into me until i asked for her number. Accused me of being married, bartender assured I was a nice guy and not married then she went into some spiel about how she's so sick of the whole dating scene blah blah ....so i took off....I hate it when they assume they are the only ones that have ever been hurt in a relationship...and assume I haven't.

had two other hot chicks that seemed into me but kept ejecting and thinking I would find them later and never worked out.

took a break and got some water from one of my regular bartenders who is hot. I chick opened me and i went over to talk to her. some guy was next to her after a minute I said "Is he your boyfriend?" (this is the best blowout line ever!) she was like no way, i want to get away from him so I said I'm going to leave ..come meet me in 4 minutes by the front door. ....she had nice tits and said she was the bartenders sister. well she never met me and I saw her later and realized she had nice tits yes,....but also a big belly.......damn...glad she didn't meet me up front.

One of my goals was just to talk more....to anyone and not stand around by myself not talking to anyone. I still did that some, but defintly talked more than usual. I just need to work on my conversational skills. i was born shy and it just sucks. Overall a good night....not great, but i worked on some of the things I felt i needed to.

PS...mad dog showed up and I was glad someone I know was there. some chick walked up to him and said "hey want to see a neat trick" and he said yes and she punched him in the balls!!!!!how fuckin crazy is that..............the bouncers kicked her out of the club. Also another guy he knows was there.........don't know his screen name.

I hear you man. It can be tempting to just stand around and talk with the guys; no doubt thats the most comfortable thing to do. But if your goal is to get some repition making approaches, standing around isn't going to cut it. Props to you for flying solo last night; that takes some balls and its something I've never done. I'm curious though, what place did you hit up?

It sounds like the material you're opening with is working for you. Those routines exude confidence, and they demonstrate a sense of humor. I know how frustrating it can be when you start off strong with the girl reacting positively to your opener, and then have to watch it all fizzle out and leave empty handed with no number close. The way I see it is this: the opener just gets your foot in the door; its a skill that can be perfected with practice. But its what you do after opening that determines whether your going to be able to close anything or not. Personally, I try to open strong and build attraction within the first 5 minutes or so. After that, I show some genuine interest in the girl. By this I mean talking about where she's from, what she does, what she does for fun...ets. You will most likely find something you have in common with her, and that can lead to some great, comfort building conversation. The point is building comfort and showing that you're interested in getting to know who the girl is. If you can do this while at the same time being funny and escalating more attraction, you'll be golden. If you build enough comfort after laying that initial foundation of attraction, you should be a lock in for at least a number close. But during that comfort stage you have to be spontaneous. You have to react to what she says and you can't be bound by any particular routine.

Be that as it may, I don't know exactly what you did you build comfort last night. I'm just throwing out some stuff based on my prior experience. Hope it helps.

Well thanks for making a space at the end of your post about my nuts,you just made them feel better. Yeah dude you were doing pretty good on Saturday,I myself did a whole lot better than Thursday. I made about my usual 13 approaches but only like 3 of them actually lasted more than 5 minutes. Thing is I don't know if its just the fact that the culture of San Antonio and Dallas are completely different from the may be it was the odd crowd but I could not keep attention of the girls I was talking too. I guess I needed to raise my energy level enough to match the energy of red river. Heh and like Rembrandt said there were some women with bellies...:)
