So we went to Logans in Norman figuring everyone just graduated and it should be hoppin. Took one of my pupils with me as he wanted to work on some stuff. Now there are a couple things that happen durring this night that are worthy of note. The rest not really so much.
First was that my wing for the night, usually has a strong inner game. He is very confident and assured of himself however he gets caught up in the little things of the game and it ruins his style. Last night he said something to me that really struck a chord and its something that i need to work on. He had severe AA, something I had never seen from him before. He wouldnt open sets, and he tells me that its too much pressure when I am around. This is now the second guy that has said this to me and im starting to wonder what it is that makes me hard to sarge with. So I ask them and they simply say your too good, and you point out sets and tell me to open them and i freeze up. I cant do it like you do, when i simply explain thats not what its about and to just relax and have a good time I still cant get him to open up. This is upsetting to me as I dont really game as much as i like to teach the guys im with how to game. Ill open a set as an example at the beginning of the night to get the ball rolling right away usually run through and open a second set with a wing so he can feed off of my vibe, then come time for him to shine, i hear crickets.
Second thing that was of note is that I ran into a guy from the dallas pua community, he meets up with some guys at a mall once a week and goes sarging. It was rather funny and we talked for a few. I could just tell from the canned crap i heard him run and his peacocking that didnt seem to fit who he was. We had a laugh talked for a few and everyone went on their way.
Last thing of note is that I booked us some vip with the bar manager for the few of you who are coming up for classes later this month. Should be a blast and i cant freakin wait to "DO IT"!
But anywhos anything yall can suggest for the AA as a teacher those of you who have had experience doing so would be greatly appreciated. No offense to anyone else its just that opinions are like assholes, everyone has one. And i would rather hear from those that actually teach and might have some insight...
