First Approach

[Country Star]

I'm at a birthday party and I see a target I want to approach, HB6.5 brunette...I've had success with hotter in my more confident days, so I felt like this was a good level to aim at to just give an opener a whirl. She's in a two set with a 50 something lady.

I break the three second rule because I'm being a pussy and just keep talking to my friends and HB6.5 joins a larger group of 8-10, maybe more like a combination of sets, all together but not all one conversation. I approach the set on my target's left and say "This is where the party's at" to the whole group. They ackgnowledge me and I turn to open her and she is introducing herself to me. I compliment her shirt, she smiles and blushes and I tell her a poorly performed story about looking for one like it for my sister. (meanwhile friends disappear and we look like a 2 set) Then maybe 5 mins. of lame boring stuff by me but well received...then it turns out she wants to be a cosmetic surgeon (mentions breast implants), says it would be rewarding. I neg by acting like that's absurd and implying that that's superficial. Then out of nowhere, everyone's gotta go and she ends up walking out behind me and my friends and whines playfully to my back that she thinks it would be rewarding. I glance back and smile and tell her working with kids is an example of something rewarding, not doing breast implants. She says something else then we part ways. I tell her it was nice to meet her.

In retrospect...she had very positive very playful energy, we had good eye contact, no mention of b/f. I think I could have number closed her for sure. Good confidence builder, ton of fun for me plus I see alot I could have done better (or done.) (or not at all). And maybe I'll see her around again and tie up that loose end in the future.
