FR: some rando...

So I've been pretty out of the scene for a while as school has consumed my life this past year; however, I did get the chance to hit up the lower greenville area with some friends from school this past weekend. Of course, I couldn't resist the temptation to practice a "little game" and see how rusty I really was...

I was waiting to get a drink at the bar and was having the worst trouble getting the bartender's attention so I saw a girl(HB 7) next to me with some very large breasts and proceeded to ask her to get his attention. She did, I got my beer and started chatting with her. I immediately locked into the 2.5 set(her, her friend, and some rando guy) and just talked about boring things like school, how stressed my life is, how my friends were all dancing but that I couldn't dance, what she did, etc...

Eventually, I got a little bored and wasn't about to hookup with a rando in front of everybody from my school(people talk a lot...) so I asked her how we could meet up, she gave me her number and told me she had some tickets to this movie theater that gives you food while eating(I can't remember what this is called, but apparently I'm the only person to never hear of it) and that I should call her to go. I told her I'd think about it because I don't really have any free time since all I do is study and left to go hang out with my friends as she goes to another bar with her friend. I also always make it clear that I have no money since I'm a "poor student". I've found I still get dates with this but usually can weasel my way out of paying for part of the meal or the entire meal...sorry dating costs money...and I don't think the end result changes much...although I'd like to hear other people's view on the economics of dating and keeping it under budget.

An hour passes, and I see her back at the bar. At this point I'm a little more drunk and it's getting late so I tell her we should just get out of here. I should mention we have solid eye contact and I've gotten enough IOIs to make this a good call. She says okay, but she doesn't have a car. Neither do I since I came with my friend. Fortunately, we convince her friend to drop her off at my place and she comes in and we start watching Old School. We immediately start hooking up and I feel something loose in her mouth. I kept thinking she must have knocked her tooth on something and it must be loose, until I check out she has a tongue ring! We proceed to the bedroom and I get some LMR.

First, she's 29 and I'm 23 so she keeps saying how I'm too young. So I give her my normal puzzled look and keep going. Then she starts getting surprised at how forward I am because she thought I was just some young, innocent student and starts laughing. So I smack her in the face....okay j/k I didn't do that but I just laugh it off and tell her I can take her home if she doesn't want to do this. Of course, she tells me she's joking and we keep going. Finally, she keeps telling me how I only want to use her for sex and that I'll never call her again since apparently that's what has happened in her past. I tell her to calm down and not think so hard about these things - it'll only give her a headache. If anybody has anything other good responses to these I'd love to hear them.

We then complete the night appropriately, and I take her home the next morning. Very awkward as I drop her off at her place because we have the most awkward hug goodbye. I haven't talked to her since...I don't really plan on it...but do other people get this awkwardness after a SNL?

Overall, a solid night for being out of the game for a while...

what's up brother! good to her that you are doing well still.

Yeah you go either two ways after an SNL either you hang out 24/7 or it get's awkward and she never calls you back.

The place she is talking about is Studio Movie Grill. I know o one in Plano, and Dallas.

Congrats on the great close, especially with your friends there as I would've felt awkward as well.

For the next one, I would keep the self negative stuff to a minimum. Instead of being "stressed" by school/work, say that at times it's a challenge, but you always like a good challenge. Project that everything in your life is going the way you want it to.
