Has Fort Worth ever crossed your mind?

Hey guys this is one of my 1st posts after being introduced to the game and reading some very interesting literature. Let me first say I was very pessimistic when I learned about the MM but was tired of being an AFC.

Well last Wednesday, Dax and I went out to downtown Ft. Worth. We met up at 8.0, where I was already with a group of my friends. So we had established social proof. We then began to take the place over; we opened a plethora of sets and ran countless routines. So feeling confident and pumped up we decided to change venues.

We decided we'd go to the Library. It was a nice venue, the crowd wasn't too big, music wasn't overpowering, and there were a bunch of women out with their friends. So we started opening sets. Dax used a natural opener on a HB9.5 (like seriously) at the bar, after a few fashion negs she finally started to open up and eventually began to qualify. We found out she was with a guy who liked her but she stayed in our set for a good 15-20 minutes (which he later number closed). Midset we see a couple high energy girls who were alone, so I leave the set we were in and use a natural opener to infiltrate the set, no real gaming was necessary. I can’t chalk this up to skill being brand new but less than 30 minutes later, this woman couldn’t keep her hands off my junk. And the other girl was trying to leave a hickey on Dax’s neck.

It was a good night and a great intro into the game, I can no longer call myself a pessimist and am really looking forward to getting better at the game.

The way to avoid that is by coming up with your own stuff. Strive to understand why something works and use that understanding to write your own lines.

the closest thing I have gotten to that was..."you remind of this show on tv...they like go around and pick up women"...lol...luckily it was my own stuff so I easily played it off as her being paranoid and a lil too over-confident...plus, this is the reason you root your openers.

it turned out to be a solid set b/c I told her to tell me about the show...I made fun of this so called "game," (quite ironic I know) and took it from there.
