AAR Chaucers 1/9

Postby boyracer » Wed Jan 10, 2007 10:29 am

My friend and I got there around 9:30, and it was a little slow. Started picking up around 10:30ish. I looked around for anybody from here I might recognize from seeing in the past, but didn't see anybody.

Mojo, were you there? I thought I recognized you, but wasn't sure.
I really need help.... someone "pushing" me into sets, etc.

Anyway.... I approached my first set, a 3 set. Got blown out pretty quick because they said one of the chick's BF was cheating on her and she just found out, blah, blah, blah. They said it was their night to "male bash", so I ejected.

My second set, I approached from behind, as they were at the bar. I know this was wrong, but I wanted to try anyway. Could barely get them to turn around, so I ejected. LOL

Third set, HB6.5 and HB7, I opened with a random opinion opener, they responded well, a I did a great DHV story, and saw them hook. (Hell yeah!) My target at the time, the HB7, had mention already a couple of times her BF, so I moved to the HB6.5. I qualified her, then moved into comfort talk, really more fluff than anything else. I timebridged to this weekend, and got her number. When I put her number in my phone, she asked me to call it, so she'd have my number.

So, I ended up with a little more experience, a #close and a timebridge.

And had a GREAT time!!

Glad you guys could make it last night. lets see, who was there. Me, Mojo, Vector76, TxSurfer, Welsh Dragon, Druid, Dex and I didn't catch one guy's handle. Bummer we missed you.

I have seen sets like this before. Does anyone remember that 4 set at Dukes that dancer finally cracked after every guy there had opened and ejected? I have thought about that since that night. I have thought about saying things like, "Wow, that's tough. So why let him continue effect you. I guess you could continue to wallow in self pity. For me, here, now, I would choose to exalt emancipation and give expression to my freedom." Yeah, I threw a bit of NLP in there for good measure.

Vector has some interesting things to say about sets at the bar, you might want to hit him up about it sometime.

Sounds like an awesome night. Glad you could make it. We need a hooka bar in the area we can all meet at before bouncing to the primary venue. Not the Velvet Hooka, It's too clubby.
Wanna know what I'm thinking about?
