Anyway, does anyone here do daygame?

Here's some stuff I found that works....comments welcome....

1. Pacing Opener (aka Pre-Opener): This is where you pace her reality and make a comment about it.

2. Go direct or semi-direct..
"Thanks. I just wanted to flirt with you." or something like that.

3. Go for rapport. Wide/Deep whatever. Boogers. Ya know stuff you have in common.

What I'm wondering is if the kind of approach I've used in nightgame would be effective in the day...

I use:

Either
a. Over-the-shoulder opener, with false time constraint.
b. 45 degree angle to her with a false time constraint.

Then when I do the FTC, I usually say "I gotta get back to my friends..." and make like I'm about to leave.

Sound familiar? I'm sure you guys use something similar.

So in the day, I was thinking of using "I gotta get back to work." or "I gotta call my friend"

What do you guys use?

I've tried this a couple of times, but I want to do more field testing in daygame:

Me: (any strange opener) Hey, I want to get your opinion on something. Do you brush before you floss or floss before you brush?
Her: blah blah blah. Why would you ask something like that?
Me: Oh, it was just an excuse to talk to you. I noticed you, and I wanted to see if you're as fun as you are cute. (then some funny qualifier, like "so, have you ever stood in line at the bank and fantasized about pulling off a heist?")

My idea is to start with an uncommon indirect opener, and then go into qualifying once I've piqued her curiosity. Also, I don't use a FTC in this test, because my theory is that if the opener is goofy enough, her curiosity will hook her. More specifically, I think she'll say to herself, "hmmm, that's different. No guy has ever hit on me like that before. I wonder where he's going with this." Plus, I go from stupid opener right into qualifying. If the curiosity doesn't hook her, the challenge might.

I have gotten so-so reaction, but like I said, I only tried it a couple of times.

So I was able to hook this HB 7 from a distance away by commenting on her dog. She and her dog walked over to me...so I am like cool. The conversation about her dog and how she picked her dog was interesting and she definitely was enthusiastic about telling me the story and for once I was aware of more than just the verbal conversation but also the energy in her tone... Man though, I continue to suck on getting to the next step..like qualifying. I find that I continue to not have any transition...and I sense that some of the girls that I talk to want to continue but I am trying to follow the MM model by not showing to much interest and not hanging around to long. Arrgh!

Any insight you could provide would be appreciated.

Qualification is the hardest step in MM. Even Mystery admits that.

I've been working on that for over 6-8 months. I quit using "so what do you have going for you more than your looks?" Mainly because of the responses I got.

If you read Sinn's blog, he also talks about that. The whole question really puts girls off unless you have massive social proof to back yourself up. Sinn had a really good post on that, I recommend reading that.

He suggests starting with a light hoop - "Can you cook?" "What's your favorite music/sport?"

You can also use a medium hoop "What do you like to do?" or "What kind of guys do you go for?"

I like Magnus' version of Qualification. "You have X and I look for that in girls."

I never really mastered Juggler's qualification. I hear its really good from those who use it.

Style has one where he says "Name 3 things that would make me want to get to know you better." I've used that one with minor success.

Although MM is good, sometimes I find myself getting too caught up on where I am in the method that I forget to be in the situation. It's more of a feeling than a definate... I am at a2 in qualifing... now a3 using bait hook. Get out of your head when youre in the moment and replay it later to see 1 key thing you need to work on next time, and then be consious of just that one thing instead of all of them in your next set.

If while youre in the set you feel like youre not progressing, then try something else. Whats the worse that could happen? You get blown out, and you learn that what you just did.... probably wont work. (I recommend trying it again at least once, before you ditch it). Move on to the next set. Repeat. Eventually you'll find the groove.

Tribulus thanks for the insight...reminder to me tha even others who have been doing this awhile still are improving.

Finesse, your right that is the best way to look at it. I was just frustrated because I felt like I was there and everything was jammin...I like your point basically just keep going for it and get out of the head.
And then look back find one area to improve upon is how I read your post. Guess sometimes I want to improve so fast that I forget and need to remember this is a game and it takes practice.

I like to qualify early, and sorta merge qualifying with attracting. In the process of qualifying I can imply lots of great stuff about myself.

"Are you the kind of person who has something you're passionate about? I meet so many people who are just sleeping through life... I don't know you very well yet, are you someone who has something that you really care strongly about?"

"um... well I'm a waitress"

"It doesn't have to be your job by the way. A lot of people confuse what they do with who they are, which is a big mistake. Not everyone can get paid to pursue their dreams, assuming they have dreams."

"Yeah I get really excited and passionate about art (or whatever)."


I have implied that I have things I'm passionate about, that I am not sleeping through life. And I didn't talk about myself at all.

"So, what are you really talented at?"

Small hoop, pretty open ended and this can easily be misconstrued as sexual was the reasoning of the PUA I got this from

Yea for me it is...I am pretty confident in just walking up to a girl and eliciting a short conversation...but I definitely need practice at the transition and/or moving the conversaton to the qualification step. See that some guys say to just act natural...but that is my problem...not qualifying a girl is natural for me and I lose out. Think the other thing I realized is that I need to know what my goal is. Is it just conversation or do I want to see the girl I am talking with again and that can only be decided by her looks and qualifying her...believe this will motivate me to move to the next step if I know what my goal is. I find it a learning process for sure!

I'll defer to Sinn. If you read his blog, he's got a great post on qualification.

I talked with him about it one time. He said the best way to qualify is to just have standards.

So you can make a list of qualities you are actually wanting in a girl. And you talk about how (in my case)..."I like girls who run. I had a crush on a girl who got me into running 5ks and marathon training."

So she now has to meet the standard and jump through the hoop.
