How to write a good online profile?

I have been talking to random people working on my conversation skills, I even joined toasted masters. Still the time I have to go out to bars and clubs is limited, I really don't go that often anyway.

Online dating seems like a good option for me. I am in front of a computer most of my work day plus the girls online are all ready looking to meet some one.

I am having a problem writing a good online profile. So far either I come off too cocky or I sound just like every other guy out there. Any one have any tips on writing a online profile maybe an outline I could follow? Any other tips would be welcome also but right now my sticking point is the profile.

the key is to make sure that you dont make yourself out to seem dull. Throw something out there about you being sociable, you enjoy going out and meeting new people. Pick one of your favorite sports teams and mention them just by saying something along the lines of MAV's '07. Drop small things out there that women can associate with too as well because they are looking for somebody that is compatible with them. If you have a signature put up a picture of something, decorate your page if possible - you want it to look attractive. Try to instill some humor if at all possible as well. My friend put one of the goofiest things on his page but he has girls commenting on it all the time and it gets him in the door. One of the best things to do is go checkout other pages and see what works.

get good at putting hooks into your messages

sprinkle lots of interesting dhv stuff in there that women can ask about because women are hesitant to overexpress interest and also, most are shitty conversationalists

heh, i replied to a personal ad last night when i was drunk partially because the girl seemed interesting and partially to see if i could get a reply... and i did... woof woof! when she sent her pic it confirmed why there wasnt one in her ad... if the attachment feature was enabled i would upload the pic, it is bad!

anyway, online dating is kind of tough in my experience... even average girls get a ton of interest and unless you are super interesting it comes down to looks... the few girls i did go back and forth with recently were not interesting at all
