PUA Book Club

Postby Neuromancer » Wed May 02, 2007 2:22 pm

Having never been part of a book club, I believe the idea is to read the book and then have a discussion review of it. That's not what I have in mind. I am thinking more on the lines of a bible study format: get the book read a chapter and dissect it in group discussion.

I thought about this as I read Mystery's new book. I am reading it a bit at a time. I realized that discussing it in a bible study format would be more helpful. It could be done with any of the "PUA Required reading." Since we just did the mystery book giveaway, it is a natural place to start.

I propose a weekly coffee shop get together to discuss topics in the book. We read one section a week, take notes and then discuss what we gleaned from that section.

If anyone is interested, post here and I will work out logistics. My of the top of my head thinking is Starbucks on Forest and Preston wednesday night a around 7. Like I said though, thats just the top of my head.

like I said, it's idea phase, where and when is really to be determined.

I'm in. However, somewhere closer to Uptown would be better for me... my car gets 18mpg on a good day, and only takes premium!
