where to get a good haircut

Postby hooks » Thu Mar 15, 2007 10:28 pm

i just heard some bad news today that my girl was no longer cutting hair, since i moved here i have only had a few people who cut my hair well/marginally well so this sucks... the only previous girl i can contact was some girl i used to hang out with and at times she gave me a great haircut, other times it was almost cockblocking via bad haircut... cut ties with her, if i go back i will probably get a bad cut out of spite

anyone know of a place to go to in uptown / downtown... even plano / north dallas / richardson would do

please list price also

Funny that there still isn't a response to this. And I think I know why ... it's because there are no good places to get haircuts around Dallas. Seriously, can somebody name one? I usually end up at Visible Changes in Collin Creek Mall because they at least have some quality control and you know how many haircuts they've performed (these start at $20, and $2 discount with student ID). They're not perfect, but better than pro-cuts and the other chains I see around. I see Leah Rawls, she's not bad. If you go, tell her your friend says she has a purse made out of the skin of the crocodile that ate her cousin. It's a pretty wild story.

Also, Visible Changes is not a bad place for game. Girls are usually surprised to see a guy in there (because for some reason, wanting a haircut at a place that doesn't suck is totally strange) and particularly easy to game.

If youre not homophobic, another good (and cheap) place to get a haircut is SuperCuts on Lemmon. Alot of the employees have been there for 10+ years. Ive been going for the past 3, and have only had two bad cuts (beware the black lady with 4 inch fingernails!!).

The lady who has done great by me is Donna at Great Clips(i know, hold your groans) at Casa Linda plaza. She literally had 5 or 6 people waiting for her the last time I went in.

Last time I had a GOOD hair cut it was a year ago and by a gay guy. I went to him several times but that was a year ago and I have since moved. I have yet to find a good place here in Addison. Still looking........... for a gay guy.. hahaha
