Dallas PUA

Hey fellas,
I'm extremely new to the community, but I just wanted to introduce myself and ask you all for some advice.

I'm going on a ski trip this weekend and there's going to be quite a few girls there. I thought I'd get some practice in while skiing! Obviously there's going to be ample opportunities on the lifts to open sets. Any thoughts on how a PUA would handle these situations?

I'm thinking I should become prepared with a few good skiing stories (which I'm likely to "borrow" from others), and perhaps some indirect sexual comments related to skiing ectera. Maybe some Keno skiing techniques, yeah that's right!

Do any of you have some suggestions or tricks that I can try my luck with? I'll probably try just about anything that's not too outrageous, so if your interested testing out a theory, I'll be your dummy and report back after this weekend.

Rent the movie "French Kiss" and adapt the scene where the French guy talks about the plane taking off. That should translate to skiing pretty well. Also, practice his inflection.

If you're planning on talking with the girls while your on the lift normal conversation shouldn't be difficult.

My observation while snowboarding is that although there are some hot girls around getting your gloves off in time to find your cell phone without dropping it into the snow or freezing your hands off in the process is the bigggest obstacle of all.

I say enjoy the time skiing. And if you end-up wiping out to hard at least you can go back to the bar and relax. That's where alot of the girls are going to be anyway.

I watched French Kiss last night. I loved the airplane takeoff analogy speech, but wow, my eyes are open to how apathetic I (and most people) sound when talking. I suppose this falls under the category of NLP. If you had one book / article to read on NLP what would you guys recommend?

Man good question. There's alot of good books out there on NLP. Everything you can imagine. I'm reading a book right now on NLP for interpersonal communication.

My suggestion is to go with someone who has credintals and is certified to teach NLP. A quick search on Amazon will give you a good overview of what's out there. Unfortunately you can't find as many books on this subject at Barnes & Noble.

As far as connecting in 5 minutes, you definately can connect with and develop a deep rapport in that time but like I mentioned the hardest part is going to be recording her number while fighting off mother nature. It's better to plan a meet-up at a near by bar later that night or when the lifts close.

dude!!!!! i hope you didn't quote french kiss. All women have seen that movie and would definately know you are quoting that. you could have looked like an idiot.

if you want to make a girl impressed... tell her you haven't skii'd before... be horrible the first day... take a class and show her that you "learned really fast" even though you already knew how lol she will be impressed how fast you pick up things. Then ask her for dinner.... *wink*

Clarify one thing for me: are these girls you already know and are going with or girls you are anticipating meeting there?
