An interesting note on the ego and inner game...

Don't let a premature victory over your fear of rejection define your growth as a PUA. A friend of mine brought up an interesting point about how the ego is always playing games to give us the self illusion of truly getting over personal hurdles. In the art of seduction, one of the biggest fears that we, as males, have to get over: the fear of rejection. One way our ego can trick us is by imposing a new fear for you to worry about in the place of the fear of rejection. The ego gives you the fear of regret to deal with in its place. When you go out, think about all the times that you haven't approached a set or didn't say exactly what you wanted to. The feelings of regret afterwards are substantial. Our mind, ie. ego, has created a new level of games for us to overcome. My friend telling me this sparked up a new wave of thinking in the art of seduction for me. Having the ability to look at a set and determine that you are ok regardless of whether you go up to her or not is the ending point in PUAdom. Knowing you have the power and not necessarily using it everytime is in my opinion way more powerful.

Now do realize this was written in a drunken state... What do you guys think? I see some light when contemplating this idea; help me flesh it out a little bit...
