I thought it would be helpful to list common mistakes newbies or even experienced veterans make.

1) Getting validation from the game.
2) Analysing the game too damn much.
3) Becoming a frame control freak.
4) Reading about cocky+funny and becoming an asshole.
5) Taking the game too seriously.
6) Not taking action until everything seems perfect in your mind.
7) Using manipulation (read: being a nice guy who hides his desires in order to be liked).
8 Focusing on the girl, instead of being who you are and not compromising your integrity.

Not having your inner game intact before working the outside.

Looking for the quick fix.

Not making approaches.

One-itis.

Establishing comfort without any attraction(putting yourself in the "just friends" category).

I know BrotherBeau just said it, but I would reiterate the importance of not skipping over the attract phase. I think one of the most confusing things for guys who would otherwise be fine PUAs is feeling chemistry with a girl and then ending up in the friend zone because she feels too comfortable with them.

Don't give anything away for free.

Have a life outside of pickup!! Have ambitions and passions.
