Most definitely it is true. Go to any college town in America and ask the 35 year old bartender that never finished school, doesn't make much scratch, isn't particularly in shape, and splits his time fairly evenly between cheap buffets, the batting cages, playing video games, and hanging at the bar how often he fucks a new, hot, young co-ed?
Go find any aging, single mom in any major city in America and tell me how quickly she'll put out for a guy with a job, that is stable, and gives her the slightest bit of gina tingles.
Go find any typical status jockeying American woman and see how quickly she lifts her skirt for the most Alpha guy in the venue.
I've grown so accustom to sex on the first date or SNLs that I'm shocked when it takes multiple dates to get laid.

The cool part of this article is that the gender minority gets the sexual control because they have more options. Essentially, this describes how powerful the abundance mentality/scarcity mentality delineation. When there are more options, the scarcer gender will put up with less and be more confident that they are the best out of less possible competitors. Because #1, they have more options, and #2 their partner has less.
Plus it reminds me how awesome life is compared to even 10 years ago. No dial-up porn, I'm in college now, the girls are ALL hotter and more DTF.
I love the terms "sexual economics" and "erotic capital." I want to use those in the future. "That HB9 is like 5 million erotic dollars"
Also, this random crap about 20 year old girls wanting to talk about marriage in college seems unrealistic. At least at USC, in the Greek system, the girls here all follow the guy's lead and basically remain out of relationships. I can't say how the GDI system works. Girls wanting to get married in college give me a soft-off.

Yes. You got it.
This is actully cutting edge stuff here. The first paper came out in 2004. And its begun to catch on in the community here too.
I view it as macro-scale forces. Supply and Demand. It is slow to change but when we can recognize it and use it, its very powerful.
This is why I went to the Philippines this summer. And just as I predicted, my value was sky high and I got laid alot.
I even met my fiance there.
Its a little bit academic but its worth hacking through this studies and papers.

See, when I was @ UNT, the greek girls wanted to get married ASAP. Each sorority had their own ceremony for those who got engaged while active...and they ALL wanted it. GDIs were the casual sex type. Either things have changed in 7 years, or the USC scene is completely different. Either way, I'm jealous

Ya the reality is backwards here because the guys in Los Angeles all know that the girls are hot and essentially replaceable. The girls are mostly rich daughters that are relatively annoying and emotionally immature. As a result, most guys simply don't want to put up with them. Plus, the "bro" culture is huge here.
The GDIs I think are more separated because there isn't a huge amount of school unity outside of sporting events, so they are more susceptible to finding a guy/girl and latching on for dear life.
