You guys ever notice the videos put out by the gurus? None of the bar environments on any of their videos look like they're mobbed with people and so loud that a guy can't have a conversation.

Note that nobody is being pushed in the back. People are talking. Its not so loud. Girl:Guy Ratio is almost 1-1 (parity).
At 1:26 he has about 3-4 feet between himself and the next person.

Note that its slightly more dense than Mystery but still nobody is getting pushed. There is at least a foot of space between adjacent couples and the girl guy ratio looks to be about 2:1...still not bad.

Its a little harder to see the room but the ratio looks good. I see lots of smoking hot girls walking around unattended. At about 1:40 we see that there's about 4-5 feet between people.

Looks like there's 5+ feet between everyone. I would estimate the girl:guy ratio to be at about 1:2.

Man, there's 5+ feet space between him and the next person. Also the ratio looks good. Plenty of girls around and at one point, he's definitely isolated when she says she has a boyfriend.

I could keep on going but here's an example of the "Do as I say, not as I do" principle. Notice that they all work in less dense clubs and bars. The girls are mostly all girl or big mixed sets like parties or bachelorettes.
Notice the girl: guy ratio is never below 1:2. Note too that they're not drinking and getting shit faced drunk.

So what do we learn here? Don't go to a place like Sherlock's Addison where you can't even walk let alone have a conversation...where the music is so loud that you have to say "what???" and the guys are all over the place so that the girls huddle in large groups for protection.

None of these gurus could do well in there...except Captain Jack.

Those kind of places are ok if you want to challenge yourself. And that's fine.

The point here is that the environment makes a difference. Try to get something close to what you see in the videos.

And who knows, maybe that shit doesn't exist!!! It could easily be staged or be a private party.

Good Question. Do I think its confidence only? Could one of those guys do as good at a super-crowded venue?
No. I don't think they could. In fact, I would challenge any of them to do so.

But I'm not questioning their game, I'm commenting on the environments they sarge in. And I have experienced both of these extremes. Both super-crowded and optimal environments.

Why not set yourself up to win? I believe the environment plays a role as does looks and verbal game. All three of these make for good game.

Well idk about that man!!! i think environment does play a really good role when it comes to pick up, but looks.. hmm i don't think it does. My point is that even if you're ugly you can get ANY girl that you want.. looks just give you "some" points on the "first impression" like this quote says: "Give me ten minutes to talk away my ugly face, and I will bed the Queen of France.".... i think Verbal game it's everything... but crowded nightclubs you maybe can't even speak so body language may be needed hahaha

Haha I go to sherlocks probably more than I go anywhere. I find myself gravitating to the quieter areas for sure. Though I don't think it matters though. I think state and attitude and out-framing all the negative shit is the most important thing. Honestly saying that ratio/crowdedness matter sounds like an intro to an excuse that I've told myself before

Well, like you said, you've been there and you go to the quieter areas. I'd love to see a so-called "PUA" get anywhere in a venue so crowded that he can't walk, talk, sit down or move girls. But like I said it can happen.
Looking at the ratio and crowdedness falls under the broader category of "Logistics".

At one time I would have totally agreed with you because I used to buy into the whole PUA movement and the community's philosophy. But....the community's philosophy is flawed and its too narrow minded.

I know. Right now you're like an evangelist. You wanna teach and save guys from themselves. But the real fact is that nobody needs saving.
Its just girls.

If you have conversations with people and you're positive and social and not needy, you do ok.

This post is not the be-all-end-all. Its not like I came down from the mountain with great tablets of Game.
This is just one tip. If you add good logistics to good verbal game and a healthy lifestyle that includes working out and good cardio along with a postive attitude, it all works.

You mention body language. Well, Sir, you can't have good body language if you don't have a good body and mind.

Take a huge fat guy with some kind of early heart disease or chronic alcoholism... he won't do as good as a fit guy with muscles. the body is a communication instrument. It has been so since the beginning of time.
