It is a little different. When you are first meet them you have to be fairly high energy. But, on a "date" you can be a little more relaxed and laid back. You're in comfort or rapport now.
What I like to do on dates is plan it so there are several stops. Maybe you first meet at a coffee house. Then you bounce to a pool hall. While shooting pool you can play the question game. Bowling is another good one. Anything where it's not to loud and the two of you are DOING something instead of just watching something.
After that I like to have a light meal at someplace like IHOP or Denny's. If you can find a mom & pop place like that it's better IMHO.
After that I'll take her to see a Jazz or Blues band.
During the date you want to seed the next place you want to take her. Over sell it a little. And through the date you have to be escalating kino. I cannot stress the importance of kino enough.
