Dallas PUA

For a while I was down on using routines. It was my feeling that they got in the way of presenting your true self to others. I have changed my mind about this. The routines are only words and words are only about 10% of what you are communicating. If you are getting laid using routines you should understand that it's not the routines that are getting you laid. It's your personality you are able to demonstrate through the routines.

The same applies in reverse. If you are using routines (or not using them) and you are not getting results it must be something other than the routines, because they are working for others. It must be something in the other 90% of how you are communicating. Posture, body language, vocal tone and projection etc.

I still think you are better off using as few routines as you can get away with. I only use them when there is a lull in the conversation to get things rolling again.

I am the same way. But at the same time, any story that you have told more than 2 or 3 times is a routine. A personal routine that you came up with yourself. I don't really use routines all that often anymore and I still get results so I know now that it is my body language and tone of voice, ect. that are working for me. Alger and I last night were discussing how routines were just a roadmap of pickup, but you have to have inner game to use it. Inner game is the spatial skills of pickup.

Maybe I need to make this a little clearer. when I say a routine what I'm talking about is a script you've memorized for use in talking to women to DHV or open a conversation or create an emotional connection.

If she says something and it reminds me of something that happened to me and I tell her that story, this is not something I have memorized to tell women I want to have sex with.

However, I agree that it's really all about inner game. You don't have to tell a story about your "stripper ex-girlfriend" for her to know you've been "pre-selected." If you are confident and bringing value to the interaction it will be obvious that women find you attractive.

So, be who you are unapologetically whether you are using routines or not.

in my post sex interviews. I always get told I'm confident and smart and that's why they slept with me. however I have altered my game recently and now i get told I'm confident, smart and very sexy. So I think that by altering the routine stack to convey sexuality I have displayed another dhv and improved my close rate.

so the real question is was i sexy to the others but I wasn't comfortable enough to let them express it. I think we are setting the rules for how she behaves in the beginning week of the interaction. this is how i get what ever i want from her. Roleplaying.

Or, is it that you just weren't conveying the sexyness (sexiness?) to her as well? Sometimes I think that a routine might help you say what you think your body language is saying, even when it isn't. JMHO.

Body language makes up over 75% of an interaction. Even before you start looking for it consciously, your brain picked up on it on a subconscious level.

For example: When a guy cheats on a woman, she picks up on it almost immediately. However, when a woman cheats on a man, she could cheat on him for months and he probably wouldn't have a clue. Women pick up on body language so much more than guys. So, if you use a routine that conveys sexiness, preselection, or a DHV and your body language contradicts these traits a woman is most like not going to believe you. You have to work on your personality, inner game, and body language more and focus less on memorizing routines.

It's true that some of the most successful PUA's in the world use routines, but look at how much Style worked on his inner game! He spent months of doing nothing else! That's what it take to become a successful PUA. Your personality and body language have to match your routines, and that is a result of refining your inner game.

YES! this is exactly the point I was trying to make. It doesn't matter how well you know a routine if you're inner chode is still in control. The chode part stands out like egg on your face.

I think knowing a few routines helps when the conversation starts to lag. You can bring up C vs. U smiles or something. Bit, it's not the routines that convey your personality and creates attraction in women. That's done through your voice tone, body language and the general vibe you give off.

Have you ever seen a man that you just knew if you fucked with him he'd kill you? That's his vibe. We have to learn to give off a sexy vibe. When a man says a woman is sexy he is usually referring to the way she looks. But, when a woman calls a man sexy she is talking about the vibe he gives off.

Comfort and confidence go along way in relaying that positive vibe it seems to me though. And for many, especially newer folks like me, I think having a few routines ready to go enhances both. They do have to fit your personality though, and you need to be quite familiar with the routines. I've had moments where I get hung up worrying about the logistics of a routine and fuck things up, when I more then likely could have progressed with a natural conversation and had better results.

Developing that vibe seems like a combination of positive thinking and lots of practice. Any other good pointers here?
