I actually bought this book. Nate makes alot of good points. One thing that he said that stood out in my mind was that most guys work out the arms and chest but forget the butt and legs.
When a guy or anyone turns around, people look at their ass and body proportions, so its important to work on these areas too.

in my experiances you can slightly alter you composition by focusing on certian muscle groups. mostly though it's just genetics. my left lat is signficantly smaller than right (2 or 3 inches) so i never scored well on double poses. broad shoulders and a small waist and legs is the appolloian type and big leg and ab wall is the hurculean(sp) type. good book though. so is the bodybuilders bible and bodybuilding a scientific approach...for a quick size related approach...try static contraction training. good book and i can attest you actually get the results he says.

The trouble with working out is you only have so much genetic potential. There are three basic body types. The "ectomorph," (skinny fuck) the "endomorph" (fat fuck)and the "mesomorph" (just fuck). No amount of working out will change this. IMHO it's better to simply be happy with who you are. If some girl doesn't like it so what? That's her problem.

LOL Do you know what all those before and afters have in common? They are all mesomorphs! Every single one of them. These are all people that hit the genetic jackpot. There is no way I could ever look like that no matter how much I worked out. Even if I took drugs it's still not going to happen.

Do you think Jack Black has trouble getting a date? I don't because he has such a great personality. He has a sense of humor about himself. He understand that some people are going to like him and some aren't. Don't sweat the ones that don't like you. It has little to do with you. Focus on the ones that do like you instead. Just be happy knowing that there is nothing wrong with you. You have everything you need to attract the women of your dreams. Just BE yourself.

sorry scoundrel i'm gonna have to call you out on this and as the only person on this forum( to my knowledge) with competitive body building experiance, i feel i'm WAY qualified to make this point. every mr olymipia with the exception of frank zane and arnold swartzanager have been endo-morphs. every single one. lou ferigno- who beat arnold. lee priest. all of them. so yes you can change your body fat percentage. I am an endo morph and I would be more then happy to put up photos minus my face of me at all three extremes. endomorph, ectomorph and mesomorph. this is not a fantasy this is hard work and dedication. So if tribulus want's to put in the hard work and dedication. what is the problem? anything that makes us better to ourselves is what this is all about. no lies or tricks and you can't fake the tremendous amount of hard work and dedication a muscular body has. hands down. while it may only be 50 percent to a girl. It's a hundred percent to him...and thats what's important. him.

Rockstar
ps and the percentage of actual mesomorphs in the world is less than half of one percent. so small infact that they are overpoweringly dawrfed by endomorphs in any sports or bodybuilding activities.

Yeah, read this.

http://www.bodybuildingpro.com/bodytypeinformation.html

Who said you couldn't change you body fat percent? Not me. What I'm saying is that the genetic potential of some of us simply won't allow us to bulk up. I know I'll never be able to get anymore than lean and ripped. Like Iggy Pop. I find that look unattractive, like looking art someone without skin.

I have never competed in body building. However, I have a close friend that has won many international competitions for guys that don't use drugs. He sat me down many years ago and explained to me why I'd be waisting my time lifting.

When you talk to someone that isn't trying to make money off you, you often get a different story.

BTW Lou never beat Arnold. Lou retired to play the hulk on TV.

Mojo Why is the moderator flaming topics? especially ones he knows nothing about he has no relevant or helpful input he just wants to argue.

4. Trolling: While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks, or purposeless inflammatory posts. Our decision is final in these matters. If you have a problem with another member turn to the respective moderator.

I'm not flaming. I am simply giving my opinions. Flaming is not disagreeing. This is a discussion forum where we discuss things. If you and I disagree so what? I'm not trying to convince you or anyone else that I'm right and you are wrong. It's just my opinion.

Faming would be if I said you were stupid for thinking the way you do. If you are right and you know what you are talking about then you shouldn't have any trouble explaining your points so anyone would see you're right.

I am open minded. I am willing to change my views on any notions I have. But, I do insist that you convince me. Attempting to frame me as a flamer or troll doesn't make your point.

purposeless inflammatory posts.

you have absolutely nooooo point of reference. We are not talking about music or tattoos. I don't care if you have a friend that is. I have friend that is a millionaire so that makes me a expert on forex? besides you've managed to derail a perfectly on point post about self improvement with your BS.

Rockstar
PS you have my number what is the name of this international natural bodybuilding friend that you have? introduce me? Put up or shut up.

PPs
Heres my expertise:
I placed in the Mr. Texas pageant....I don't have a friend who did.

And btw Arnold said that if Lou had 2 more months to train he would have beaten him in the movie pumping iron. He did however compete Oct. 12 1974.

and we are now done DNFTT.
