Takeaways:
What are takeaways?
• Takeaways give the other person a feeling of loss
• Takeaways are a form of passive attraction.
• Takeaways are a form of breaking rapport.
• They create a form of tension that is at first negative, but once released cause strong positive emotions.
• They make her have to win you over multiple times.
• They help you calibrate situations and keep you from being “to nice.”
• They give the person a feeling of loss
• They heighten attraction by making them
Why use takeaways?
• To much rapport and the interaction is not believable. It’s to much push.
o (Think of a salesman who likes EVERYTHING you try on)
o You wouldn’t trust him
• The thin slice of a guy that does takeaways is solid
o Every high value guy she has ever dated naturally did takeaways
o
General rules
(Formula: Hot and Cold or Push/Pull)
• Me on Kim:
o B: “Say something smart ass and roll your eyes playfully.”
o B: “Backturn.”
o K: “God you are a dick.”
o B: “Omg, what? God you are a pain in the ass. Come here. Why am I so attracted to you if you annoy me so much? You are frustrating.”
• (The key here is to verbalize what she is feeling and pretend like you are the one feeling it.
o Technically you are annoying her and frustrating her, but you pretend she is the one that is annoying you, but you offset it with a heavy compliment.
