I'm a noob and want to learn

Hey fellow PUAs. I've only recently begun to delve into the world of the PUA after a very hot friend of mine whom I traveled with on a study abroad program told me if I wanted to meet girls and attract them, I should look into this. (Her boyfriend's brother lived in London and taught seminars on this subject, and a pupil actually gamed her! She was so hypnotized by his charisma that she couldn't get him out of her mind and contemplated dumping her boyfriend.) I knew I had to look into this because I wasn't meeting any girls overseas either. It felt like a waist.

I'm 22 and live in the Frisco area and want to not just meet girls, but to enhance my social skills and become the center of attention and not be some AFC. I've read Mystery's book, but only so much can be taken from reading. I realize that the real knowledge will come in the field. I'd like to have someone I could join and learn from. I'd appreciate the help guys.

How do you know you are an AFC?

Well, I try the openings and if I somehow get past that, my tendencies to go back to old habits appear and the girl will get the upper hand, leaving me without something to say or unable to respond to a question or obstacle.

Perfect practice makes perfect. Just put yourself out there and remember: outcome = overrated ...I think you will be suprised w/ the results!

take it from a guy who's learned the hard way, the best thing you can do is study a little bit of theory and then go infield and practise it untill you've no problems doing it. Then learn the next bit and do likewise.

There is no point going out and studiny all the theory and then trying to put it to use as, it may have been done with all goodvintentions of learning, but you will only confuse yourself.

So study opening and then go out in field and open. NOTHING ELSE. Don't have a fear of rejection because you have nothing to get rejected by. Then after you have opening down, move onto transitioning. And so on and so forth.

First of all, I want to congratulate you on wanting to change your life so that you too, can become the center of attention when you want to . Heck it might even go farther than just being a social node. You might also want to earn the right to teach professionally, and help others who were once like you as well (which is where I am).


I agree with declan.dublin. and Dax when he says that you want to combine theory with actual practice.

I strongly recommend meeting up with BIGT who seems keen on getting that practice with you, and then you want to write Field Reports . This is a very important step because writing up Field Reports allows you to take a look at your behavior from an outsider's perspective (like your own coach) and see where you went wrong. I've checked the Field Reports section and haven't seen anything from you yet, so we're looking forward to reading your first FR.

Okay, it's a LEARNING thing. You walk up to 10 girls and you say "You know I may not look like it, but I can run really fast." Chances are 8 or 9 of them will give you the same answer. So, by the 5th one you should have a fairly good reply. Maybe two or three. Then you use that on ten more girls and see what they say. Each step you're getting closer to your goal. It doesn't matter if you say the wrong thing because the next girl you talk to won't know about it. You can say ANYTHING! Find out what works and what doesn't. Get it?
