I know...it's easy to say "don't let it bother you, and it won't be a problem" but this may not be the case...I feel like I have my ethnicity working to my disadvantage...from the past month, I'm 5 - 0 (5 black number closes compared to 0 number closes with "other than black") maybe I'm subconsciously showing my insecurity (I can't see it) but I dunno... it's like I have to work twice as hard as a white guy to build attraction. I have to 1st prove that I'm not going to steal their shit, and the 2: prove that I'm not some hip hopping gangster. and only then could I start building attraction. and then there are the girls who just aren't attracted to black guys. (not racist, but just not physically attracted) (and then there are the racists...) Are there any Black PUAs out there? how do I deal with this??

Most people are either going to respond or think that most black guys are just naturally gifted at picking up girls. I know I made the comment around a bunch of guys one night. I said why isn't there any black guys on the board. That is how the question was answered.

There is no doubt you are going to have to work harder. And yeah maybe your pool of women is smaller. I agree there are a lot of women who don't like black guys...sorry so just accept that right now. And then there are the ones who are racist..but hey just add them to the pool. They all fit in the same section.

I mean if I was really into black girls it would be the same way. A lot of them just aren't into white dudes. I hang out with a couple black guys and they're hot like fiya. All they have to do is show up and they crush. One's name on myspace is "king of white chicks" lol. They just have mad game.

with Playercool. And, as black guy #2, lol, I have sort-of the same problem. Can't say I have it gaming though as I am busy and hardly make it out. But I pass people all the time in 'friendly' circumstances and I get this "what's up, man" shit from people assuming I'm 'from the street.'

I don't dress like a thug, and I don't hold it against them personally but every time it happens...I notice. I also notice when people just talk to me in their language rather than 'mine' and can say hi/hello/how's it going/etc like a normal human being.

Non-black people and non-black women come in all flavors, so as far as racists, etc, I think if your results are suffering, best to check your fundamentals first. Unless you are already good.

Oh and to add more to Playercool's angle, people also assume black men can dance, sing, play any sport, and have 10" schlongs.

Also, be ready for the assholes to come out of the woodwork if and when you date someone from another race. My last g/f was black and we got daggers everywhere we went. Especially from younger black males and older white people.

I've never had that problem. But I also see weakness when I look at other people, for the most part, even when I'm the nervous one. I don't see myself getting 'daggers' since people usually are the ones apologizing and getting out of the way for me. I'm no bodybuilder either.

One of my wingmen down in Shreveport is a black PUA...pretty decent, though he mostly goes for black girls himself.
