touching on open experiment

I am trying to determine whether touching on open is better or not. I have many reasons for one, but I want to for sure prove what my current thoughts are by having this experiment.

Anyone willing to participate you will:

1. Open with touch 10 times, and then record how strongly the set hooked, and also how solid the rest of the interaction went

2. Open without touch 10 times and do the same.

This is situational, IMO. Sometimes you have enough comfort with a girl to open with some strong kino...at other times you certainly do not. I recall Mojo talking about kissing a girl before he said anything. Personally I've not done this but I have opened with some pretty strong kino and gotten a very positive response....

Also I tapped a girl on the shoulder and had her scream "don't touch me!"

I have found that if you don't have a prior approach invitation and you approach from behind AND use kino on the approach, it's a suicide mission. Somehow, this gets you thrown into the creep zone.

I'm asking for a neutral participation, so I won't say my thoughts on this.

Definately. I should note I didn't approach from behind, it was a side approach in a crowded club.

give value to the group as in the OMG openers or the WOOHOO opener. touch her for a split second with the back of your hand on her lower arm. you'll get very little non-compliance. then a second later touch her again, back of the hand on the shoulder. You should use it like you'd use inflection. you'll come off as way not creepy.

example:

Me:WOOHOO (touch lower arm with back of hand) you guys look like sooo much fun!
HB1: hey
Me:(to HB1) well HEELOOO! (touch shoulder)

This is the beginning of the Mehow pureKino routine. It's field tested and produces kino escalation right off the bat, with out being creepy.

by the way I'm in on the experiment.

I've gotten to the point where I touch everyone, whether or not I'm gaming. This means guys as well as girls. This way I don't even have to think about it, and it becomes very natural for me to touch someone I am gaming. To answer the question, sometime I touch when I open, usually on the arm to get her attention, and I do it in a gentle way that is not entirely sexual/creepy and it doesn't necessarily have anything to do with strategy.

I usually don't open a set with touch, but I do kino with in the first two minutes of meeting her. When I do an indirect opener to a group set, usually a touch to open with will work, but if she's alone and you open with touch she might be creeped out. That's my observations.

Also If you use a direct approach, opening with touch almost never fails. That's what I do when I go direct. I open with a touch in the shoulder and just SOI and convey interest.

For me opening with touch works better if you use an direct approach than going indirect. If you haven't checked out SHOCK and AWE the direct approach you should. I usually go direct for warm up sets.
