I think that Deep Ellum used to be the place to hang out and meet people, but now its considered sort of a declining part of the scene...

I would love to hear where people have had the most success? Sambuca, Carsons, Memphis, are some of the few places I know about...

Had alot of luck at Zen Bar in Addison last night. Also some bad ass hole in the wall bar called zoon, loon, some shit I don't remember.. Like Sherlock's too...

I've had a little luck in deep ellum but its kinda slummy. Purgatory is to loud for any thing to run well. Uptown is good and so is most of addison.

Just grab a copy of The Dallas Observer and go at it. There's also the articles on citysearch.com . And always remember that the answer to the question about "where it's at" is: where you are at. You can make any situation fun.

Just be safe and remember that this is Dallas. Park your vehicle in a well-lighted place, don't sit in your vehicle, and don't stay anywhere too long. If you're not familiar with an neighborhood, you might want to drive by it during the day first.

Learn the Specials at bars, like Monday nights at Blackfinn its $2 you call its, and Saturday nights its $3 royal fucks and kamakazi's at M Street Bar on Lower Greenville. where the specials are is where the ladies are. Anything in Addison or on Lower Greenville. most those bars are good.

Central Market at Lovers and Greenville. How did I miss this place?
