Ive been thinking about this for a while and I was curious.

How many people here are in pick up for quality? quantity?

Me personally its quality. I want to be able to choose, I dont want to settle.

To meet the right woman, you have to meet a lot of women.

I'm here for quality women, but I want them in quantity.

What bull run said, but i am terrible with trying to keep multiple women. In fact I am having trouble going out and not letting my booty call/ex find out (we kinda are datin again but not real clear on that). I guess I shouldn't care if she does, but its been a sticking point for me.

Now the real question.

If the quality girl comes by, do you really think you'd be able to identify her and then STOP gaming other girls?

Why would you have to stop? Tell her you like her, and want to date her, but you don't do exclusivity. Tell her people try to force things like monogmy on each other in relationships but you don't want that. Tell her you want both of you to be free to presue anything, and that you won't judge her or think less of her for it.

Agreed! I've actually found that the PU to be the part of the relationship that I enjoy the most. Sometimes, I find myself just going out for the sole purpose of picking up women that I never intend to see again. I doubt I'll ever see the last few girls I closed again, and that's fine with me. If they pursue me then I'll make some time, other than that I'm not going to waste my time chasing a girl when I know there's probably something better at the next venue. A few months ago, I would pursue the quality girls. Now I recognize quality when I see it, but I don't want to stop surrounding myself with different kinds of quality. I like striving for PUAism and feel that if I settle down with one of these quality chicks I'll just undo all the work I've done. I'll slide back into AFCism and that's not cool with me.

Back to your question, can I identify her? Yes. Will I stop gaming for her? No.

My post raises another question that I've been pondering: can one be a PUA and be in a serious LTR? I almost feel like being in a LTR sort of requires that you become an AFC. I know all of my married friends are bigger AFCs now than they were before they got married.

I don't think you can catagorize men into two classes: PUA and AFC. A guy can be in a LTR and not be AFC. If what you suggest is true, then the only way to not be a chump is to keep having meaningless sex and to never have a relationship.

I'm not sure. I think you win the game when you stop playing it. Once you completely and totally internalize everything PU teaches (inner game, how to be a man, how to interact socially) and you get to the point that your personality is naturally one that attracts others then I think you win the game. You win because you're not consciously playing the game any longer, it's who you are.

I think sarging is just the tool we use, the medium if you will, with which we all learn to be better men. More self-assured, better with social interactions, secure with who we are, etc. I think if you're here trying to get an LTR you'll end up just where you began.
