Besides clothes or hair or things that are akin, what do you guys wear to further peacock. For example, my friend has a really cool greek necklace, and this huge irish bracelet that girls comment on alot. Do you have any unique "accessories"

I go for a mild peacock usually a necklace sometimes depending my mood I'l l go for my hair color. I'm half and half on the whole peacock idea. I'm not much for a silly hat but good on you if you want to do it and it works by all means go for it.

Its all about the shoes, I'm telling you, that's the first thing girls look at.

you know what I tend to agree on that women like shoes but I've picked up some girls with some rugged wear before, but yeah.

So would you recommend getting bright, noticeable shoes? I like the greek necklace idea and the bracelet thing, but i dont know how effective they would be; meaning how much a girl would actually notice.

The point of peacocking is to get attention from across the room or once that girl actually takes a minute to check you out?

If the point was to get noticed from across the room, then i think bright shoes or something along those lines would be best, but a really interesting necklace would catch her eye only if she took a closer look...

the comments about the shoes aren't about getting shoes with blinky lights and bright colors necessarily (remember L.A. Lights?? lol)

A majority of women have some sort of shoe infatuation. 99% of the girls I know, take notice of a man's shoes before taking in the rest of the picture. They are looking for shoes that go with the outfit (don't wear brown shoes and a black belt!), are stylish (doesn't mean expensive or name brand, mind you), and I've had a few who emphasize that they also watch to see your socks as well....a statement that made me ditch all of my plain white socks! hah.

You can break these rules too. An English teacher I once had commented that you can break the traditional rules of writting, but you first have to know them...it's the same with fashion, otherwise you're just some nieve chump that doesn't get it. But if you intentionally violate the rules of fashion, and women find this behavior widly attractive.

I've had great sets when I was dressed like someone who just got out of a mental institution. I think everyone should go out dressed all crazy & sarge. It's quite fun. I think I want to go out with one black shoe/white sock, and one white shoe/black sock, with shorts and a dress shirt....and a fedora.

Hell, might even throw in a "DANGER! STAND CLEAR 50 FT SIGN"

I feel like I have alright fashion sense, but that I need to develope it a little. The rules of fashion, i feel, are more difficult to just list off. Is there a set of rules that anyone knows about or some literature that anyone would recommend to help me develope my personal style?

As I recall, Brad P talks a lot about fashion. His advice to me (back when I had bad fashion*) was to join Myspace interest groups that focus on Fashion. Those people are nuts but they love to give fashion advice.

Anyhoo.

WF's suggestion about the myspace groups is a good one, but those guys can go overboard in my opinion. I've been helping my friend with his fashion sense by going with him to buy shit...sure it looks a tad gay, but it improves our game in-field (whether that be psychological or not.)

Spend some time looking through popular trendy clothes sites...some have outfit put-together apps on them. The easiest way to improve your fashion is to know color associations (i.e. which colors compliment others..etc)
