My thoughts of Style's "Social Robots" post
Posted: Sat Sep 15, 2007 9:57 pmI've been noticing lately that there are some guys in the community that are 2 dimensional people, or 1 dimension:sarging. They have little else in the way of hobbies, or interists. They borrow stories and routines to be interisting, because they have none of their own. The best DHV stories are TRUE, and they happen to you, not some story you get in some PUA'S newsletter. Guys wonder why when they run out of material, they lose the set. If you find this happening often, or everytime you see an attractive woman that you MUST sarge her, you might want to look in the mirror.
I've really seen the truth to the wisdom of "have something better to do than pick-up women." Develop hobbies, suceed in a career, hit the gym. Build a life style, AND a skillset. I mean really, how cool is it to bring chicks back to a dingy bachelor apartment(I'm there right now myself so sympathy for us who are there) or, having improved yourself in many areas, bring her back to the house of a sucessful, interisting, charismatic man? You be the judge.
I've personally made a career change that will in the future allow me to have the second option. I have been stretched, and challenged in many ways. It's not an easy thing I'm undertaking. but it's worth it.
