My office manager just received a call from a person who represents a production company. They are filming an 8-week reality TV show at Deion Sanders. They require the services of my company. In a few days one of my photogenic employees (she will be seen on the series) and I will be meeting with Deion and his wife. Deion is making the decision on which company to employ. The great thing is when I get this job, my employee will wear my company’s logo. Free advertising! At least I hope they will allow that.

When dealing with the rich and famous, the trick is not to enthusiastically acknowledge that they are famous. Being impressed by anyone’s accomplishments places you below him or her on the social ladder. So no “I am such a big fan! Sooo nice to meet you”. Just treat them as regular people. Anyway, any input is welcomed on how to pull this off and have Deion pick my company.

just my 2 cents......but the standards "make friends first" probably wont work hes had enough people kiss his ass to date. if at all possible, maybe try and turn the tables IE: make it an interview to see if YOU want to pick HIM. much the way lawyers decide if they are going to take the case or not. express the fact that you are busy and wouldn't mind working with him but you want to make sure this isn't going to be another shitty reality series so you want to see if he has a personality etc. then get into talking about what hes into and ellicit the emotional value to his passions. after that connection he should be in the bag....go for the kiss close (note sarcasm here)

I've met him before when I was working at a restaurant and he came in for dinner. He acts like hes famous. Seriously. He expects that people recognize him in public, but other than that, he was an ok guy. and a decent tipper.

The meeting will be schedule for either this Tue or Wed. Hopefully Wed. We are expecting a call either today or tomorrow. I've asked my office manager to try to get the later appointment. The reason behind this is the same why professional skaters fight to be seen last. In any contest, those who present/compete last have a better chance to win since during the earlier performances are setting the bar.

Just found out that they do not require me to be there. They requested two of my employees to go over there to provide sample service this Tuesday. Due to mounds of paper work, they ask there to be no logos on the uniform. Darn. It's ok, I am excited about having a chance to get this business.
