How many guys are closer to FT. Worth than Dallas?

Ft. Worth is the 16th largest city in the USA. Does any one think we need our own lair?

Or is there one and I don't know about it?

Love Arlington, right in between everything. Except for the fact that Arlington itself, which isn't that far behind Ft.Worth in size, sucks.

Yeah, that what so funny when they were making a big deal on the news about Arlington men being some of the best in the country. It was almost like, move to Arlington, women! lol Those women would need some good day game, because the night scene there sucks, unless you're in the mood for dive bars!

So glad I'm in the D metro now, you wouldn't believe... it's just awesome. I can go about my day and meet great women without going out of my way or go on some sort of hunt.

Arlington is a city that is afraid of having a personality. I owned a tattoo shop there for ten years. There used to be some GREAT bars there (Skippy's Mistake comes to mind) but they're all gone now.

Ft. Worth on the other hand has lots of great places! The Aqua Lounge, The 8.0 and FREE PARKING! In my neck of the woods (HEB) there's Bellbottoms and they just opened Dukes Roadhouse II.

You know...I thought about hitting Cowboys Red River tonight. Then I thought...Fuck it!!!!...that's a long ways from S. Fort Worth. So I went to North Side instead (see FR). No offense to the Dallas guys, but Tarrant county just seems more laid back IMO. I remember going to Skippy's Mistake during my college days. J. Gillagan's was good too. I haven't been to J. Gilligan's in years. Do they still have their annual street party? What's Duke's like? I know 105.3 is having some sort of AFC contest this next week. Is Dukes a TRE? 8.0 can definitely be a TRE.

Maybe you, me and MagicBalls need to go out together. I think we're near the same age. No offense to the younger guys, but I think guys our age (35+) may have a different outlook on things and have different sticking points. I know I do.

Giddy up![/u]

That's why I designed a shirt that says "keep Dallas Pretentious".

As far as FW starting their own lair, I fully support it and would be glad to help you guys get it going.

Thanks Neuro, but there doesn't seem to be much interest. That may be a good thing for those of us in the FTW area though. 8)

If you are interested in perusing this, we will support you. I talked to mojo about this and we think it may be a good idea. That's not to say we don't want you. Fort Worth should have stuff more FW centric.

I agree, FTW has lots to offer and it really is a different vide from Dallas. I'm just not the guy to do it. At least not at this time.

Maybe after those royalty checks start rolling from my gas wells.

Can't agree with you guys more. The downtown/stockyards area has alot of life to it. Especially the latin scene. Fort Worth Lair is just what we need. I live in east fort worth myself.
