So far it looks like lifetime fitness has the coolest stuff (waterslides, rock climbing and sports leagues).
But 24 hour fitness seems like it has the most locations.
Whats the best gym?

I used to go to the downtown 24 Hour fitness, and was happy with the facilities. I also have heard good things about the Tom Landry Fitness Center over at Baylor...

My crotch, if you're a young, healthy, big breasted, supple, curvaceous, horny blond bombshell.
If you're not, well the 24 hr fitness downtown is not so bad, though I cancelled my membership when it started getting way too crowded.
For pickup you need to take a class; girls tend to be friendlier and more talkative when you're in a class with them than when you're on the elliptical next to them as they got their ipod at full blast. I started a few convos in the elevator but time there is short.

24 Hour Fitness
The reps work on commission, so near the end of the month, haggle a little (well a lot really) - they will make special deals (like all locations 650.00 for 3 yrs prepaid/50.00 a year renewals after that - or all locations 17.00 a month - tougher to get this month to month)
Consider it a bar/club with 30 metroplex locations open... 24 Hours
Only learned about the free classes for members recently - for pick up this would definitely the ideal way to use the membership

24 Hour Fitness.
One day I got up early and went to one by my house in the 7-8am hour on a Saturday and it was well stocked with HBs.
I won't say which one but if you join, just go early AM on a Saturday and check it out.
I really don't do much gym game (if there is such a thing) but hey there they were and I did a few quick approaches.

I belong to Lifetime Fitness. I usually go to the one in Plano. It is good because I can play basketball there, swim, work out, do rock climbing, etc. It's good for my son, who likes to swim and has taken swimming lessons there.
As far as I know, 24 Hour Fitness doesn't have a basketball court, swimming pools, rock climbing walls, or racketball courts, but costs almost as much as Lifetime Fitness. That's why I went with Lifetime.
However, as I look out my office window, I see a 24 Hour Fitness. I am very tempted to switch, because it would be so much more convenient to duck out of work for about 90 minutes 2 or 3 times a week rather than trying to fit my workouts into my regular routine outside of work. There are simply more 24Hour locations, which makes it more worth the money despite their lack of extras.

I have a pass for a free week at Lifetime Fitness. Just let me know if you want it (the pass).
