Next book suggestions??

Alright.. so theres no "Products" section of the forum but I am looking for the next book I should grab. Being a REALLY broke college student for the past few years, I have only been able to soak up info from Mystery's book and The Game (2 obvious places to start) and from reading forums. I have some cash now though and want to find some good PUA books to grab next. Any suggestions?? I have heard the following so far..

1) Magic Bullets - Nick Savoy
2) Conquer Your Campus - Mark Redman (I think that was the author)
3) How to Talk to Anyone: 92 Little Tricks for Big Success in Relationships - Liel Lowndes (Not PUA but I heard good for learning to network with anyone.. including women)

Would really love suggestions because I don't have time to read 1,000 books, so getting some concentrated info would be best

Those books are horrible, and by design. They're constructs in a marketing funnel.

You should give me a call and let's go out--my number's in the wingman section.

Apart from that, my read from you is that you're a hacker-type (could be that I'm wrong. If so, just say). Being a hacker-type is totally fine, but def avoid cryptic horseshit. For a hacker, that kind of stuff can derail you for years.

I have a few recommendations. I'm going to pm them to you, just because non-hacker types might misperceive them as blanket recommendations, and I don't mean them to be.

The material I send over will, I hope, help you pinpoint what you're looking to learn *next* which is an issue left open by this posting. So, look at what I send, and say, "not what I'm looking for; what I'm looking for is X." Check for some links by tomorrow at 3ish.

If anybody else wants references to worthwhile, non-marketing-funnel reading, pm me. I might not have an ideal reference, but I'll do my best.

Books in this type of singles society especially today are difficult to recommend for many reasons. I agree with crow on most of his point but would expand on it. It's not necessarily marketing scams that you get in to with a lot of the books like a vastly growing number of men that try the community think. Sure they have an agenda to make profit especially if they've bitten off some capital investment. But most of what you see in books will work to a degree if you do it enough and if what you are reading fits your personality.

The thing most new pua's don't realize is that PUA books and philosophies they try to study are built on endless number of factors starting with personality, goals, and culture of where the practice originated and developed. Pick up in Asia, South America, NYC, Chicago, LA, or Miami , or Billings Montana is all theory built from different viewpoints based on the field of practice. What anyone tells you might apply to them and 20% of other guys and maybe a higher percent in their community, but it may look awkward and not make sense for you.

I guess if I had to recommend one it would be something that didn't lead you to a marketing campaign like crow said. 50 shades of grey would be good. It would possibly bore you but a lot of women will talk about it with you. A lot of finance books should be good as well as anything inspirational that doesn't necessarily focus on pick up of women.

ninjamatt def covered ground I neglected, and I agree 100%.

The missing piece, I think, btwn the two of us is that, supposing we could somehow get the exact right text into your hands, it would still be moot reading without even just a little structured time out with a good teacher. Luckily, you're in dallas, where me or, from what I can tell, a lot of good dudes, will take you out sometime for free. But I'd say do that before trying to learn anything new from ink and paper.

I've heard Magic Bullets is a good book but I've not read it. As for "How to Talk to Anyone", EXCELLENT book and I recommend this to everyone. Other favorites are Richard Dawkins, "The Selfish Gene" and, of course, "The Game" by Neil Strauss.

How to Talk to Anyone is fun. Magic Bullets I don't like so much.

If you want the best thing ever, start listening to the Risk! podcast. If I had my druthers, it'd be mandatory listening for all accelerated romantic relationship initiators--fine fine, "PUAs" :)

The Game I read a while back... standard (and should be mandatory) for anyone in the community. The bible-style binding is totally justified!

Actually I got 2 from my list. How to Talk to Anyone AND Magic Bullets.. Both are fucking awesome for their own reasons. HTTTA is perfect for basically any social situation! Magic Bullets is PUA based, and though I wish it had more about college game in there, I LOVE the analytical approach. After reading I can seriously recognize patterns in conversation with women and groups in like, low motion or something. My game has stepped up so much!

Gunna check out some of the other titles you guys mentioned, and I really appreciate all your feedback
