I will be in LA this week for work, so I extended my return flight to be Sunday. So, impromptu vacation in LA.

What are some bars/clubs that I should check out while I'm there?

Also try googling for an LA PUA-lair for venues.

Look for places on yelp that say fake people, pretentious people, stuck up, etc. Those will be best clubs no doubt.

I know this is old, but figured I'd pipe in.

Hollywood is where everybody and their mother assumes you have to go (and the prices reflect that), but I actually found some decent spots outside of that area while I was in school. Culver City had some nice venues, Hermosa Beach, Long Beach, Downtown Fullerton, Newport Beach, the list goes on. Of course this isn't an LA forum so I won't go into too much detail.
