So I was able to lease my house in south garland for $300 over the note in just a week and now i'm hustling to find a place for a year lease in uptown. I really like gables uptown tower for the price, pools, gym & since its next to frankie, breadwinners and primos. But glass house is pimp albiet for less sq feet and off mckinney, Windsor Turtle Creek is nice but also off mckinney and the State & Thomas area townhomes are in the running too since I would get my own garage. Has anyone lived around that area and if so please opine on your experience. I don't care if I have a lil noise living on mckinney, I just dont want constant noise...

I eat lunch at Cafe Express on Mckinney just about every day. Not only do I eat there I also lounge around on the patio for about 2 hours. You just can't go wrong with the area. I wish my house was here instead of where I live.

I constantly see HB7's+ walking up and down the street or running. I see hotties all the time eating.

The street is busy yes, but I rarely see anyone hauling ass or super loud road noise. I just wouldn't sit outside that long each day if it was super noisy. Plus at night the traffic is gonna die down to a point that it might not be super duper annoying.

I will however say I did date a girl once who lived off of Cole. When I would stay the night it was kinda annoying. Not so much that it drove you crazy but enough to know it was there.

I didn't look at the choices you gave but if you are right there on Mckinney close to primos and such I think you will be fine. If you are too concerned hang out around the possible location at the times you are worried and see what the area is like and the noise created.
