I'm all for a man paying his debts. But, why in the hell is this guy paying for his EX-wife's lawyer fees. Absolutely absurd that he should be forced to pay for the fees it costs her to take half of everything that this man is worth.

Fucked up women.
Fucked up legal system.

No wonder men are less and less willing to get married.

Wow.

It's hard to believe how bad men get fucked by the legal system. Marriage is practically a win win for women. If they stay married or divorce the husband, the woman will always come out on top. It's mind boggling to think that any man would think that marriage is a good idea. What benefits are there? If you want to be with someone, why not just live together and act married, and avoid the little legal paper that shoots you in the foot.

It isn't surprising that the judge who ruled in this case is a woman. "Circuit Judge Elizabeth Rice ordered Ahanotu to surrender his 2002 St. Louis Rams conference championship ring."

I couldn't help but to laugh at the comment by the male author, chris chase. "Oh, that pesky American court system, forcing a man to pay his exorbitant debts. How dare they! What's next, holding him accountable for lying in court about giving the ring to his brother?"

I think it's safe to say our fearless author is a feminist at heart. The irony, the woman takes his ass to court, divorces the husband...and the husband has to pay the legal fees. So, he essential ended up suing himself.

That is complete and utter bullshit. It's sad how hard men get fucked in the ass by women and the court system...

For a guy who still thinks he is going to get married someday, this is just another step in the direction of never tying the knot.

My ex refused to sign a prenup. I refused to even consider marriage without one. No wonder she was so adamant about it. Her parents were even like, WHAT you want her to sign a prenup if you guys get married? That is just ludicrous. It all makes sense now; that time in Vegas when I was blitzed out of my mind she tried to get me to marry her. I somehow had the wits about me even then to decline.

Another thing to consider if any of you guys ever get married. Have a prenup written up that already decides custody of the children. In this day of age when divorce is creeping up to 2/3 of all marriages it is just silly not to have a prenup.

Guys, If I ever get married make me read this post please. Make damn certain I don't go back on this.

Prenup in affect or marriage is out of the question!
Executive Summary : The Western World has quietly become a civilization that undervalues men and overvalues women, where the state forcibly transfers resources from men to women creating various perverse incentives for otherwise good women to conduct great evil against men and children, and where male nature is vilified but female nature is celebrated. This is unfair to both genders, and is a recipe for a rapid civilizational decline and displacement, the costs of which will ultimately be borne by a subsequent generation of innocent women, rather than men, as soon as 2020.

As a result, women are the first to want into a monogamous relationship, and the first to want out. This is neither right nor wrong, merely natural. What is wrong, however, is the cultural and societal pressure to shame men into committing to marriage under the pretense that they are 'afraid of commitment' due to some 'Peter Pan complex', while there is no longer the corresponding traditional shame that was reserved for women who destroyed the marriage, despite the fact that 90% of divorces are initiated by women. Furthermore, when women destroy the commitment, there is great harm to children, and the woman demands present and future payments from the man she is abandoning. A man who refuses to marry is neither harming innocent minors nor expecting years of payments from the woman. This absurd double standard has invisible but major costs to society.
I assume that article doesn't tell the whole story. It looks like he lied about having possession of the ring and lied about what it was worth. Perhaps if he was truthful, the legal fees would have been much less. If that's the case, then he brought it on himself.

His logic about the value of the ring going to court fees is bullshit. The court fees have to be paid. If he pays them, then his ex wife doesn't, which means more money goes to her and their children. Ultimately it doesn't matter where the money goes, but I assume it's for court fees that he caused unnecessarily.

Why would a former NFL player have to give up his NFC Championship ring? Probably because he blew all his money on stupid shit... like a replica NFC Championship ring. This guy is a dumb ass, I guarantee it.

Yeah, it's all his fault... cause he's a dumb ass... I'm sure that's the reason.

I still don't see why he should pay his ex wifes legal fees after she divorced him....

So you are saying if you are married, then your sweet little angel divorces you, that you should pay her divorce lawyers for her?

Dude if he wants to be a cheerleader for these broads, let him. This isn't the first time he's spouted these views. Just so long as you don't fall for the whole marriage facade.
