Purposes of Text....

As it is, i'm starting to re-open a lot of numbers in my phone, I guess I realized there are really only two purposes for texting. 1) (the most obvious) is to set up a date. 2) Just to let the girl know you exsist.

The second one is the one I'm trying to get a handle on currently. Basically, I work a lot, and sometimes my schedule gets unexpectedly full for weeks at a time. In these periods, it's impossible for me to set up any dates, so I often only text to let women know that I'm still around, so that later when my schedule frees up a bit more I can ask them on a date, and it doesn't seem like I'm coming at them from out of the blue.

From what I gather, the key to these kind of texts is to be funny, witty, sexy, and get the buying temperature high. Then cut it off drastically. A text exchange shouldn't go on longer than a day or two, with long periods in between with no contact. I feel that the longer you continue to text with no pay off, the easier it is for the girl to get comfortable/lose interest.
