ok i consider myself a writer, so I do write blogs on myspace that deal with psychology and philosphy, sometimes pretty intricately. I get no comments, though. ON other profiles, I see women react to emotional blogs, like if someone is pissed of at the world, or if someone is high on life and wants everybody else to be, and mostly to stupid illogical shit that isn't backed up by facts. As a matter of fact, most of the chain mail you see on myspace are hoaxes that are made up, illogical, obviously false, not based on facts, and never list their sources. When you do list something coherent, logical, with sources, people don't pay attention to it.

I assume that no one is reading them, but when I give out my myspace I think it works against me because they are so logical. I don't want to hide a form of expression that is important to me, but at the same time, if it's keeping me from getting laid, maybe it's not that important. What do you all think.

Oh, by the way, I created a fake profile on myspace. It's a psychopathic/narcissistic/paranoid musician who rambles illogically, and busts on girls. I've done a good bit of research on the disorder, so I think I got it down. His music is nothing but LITERALLY noise. Interestingly enough, I'm receiving very good response, almost all my adds are being accepted, getting good comments, and I had one girl ask me to marry her. This was a chic that has guys cowering at her feet (at least online). I remember when I first created a myspace profile two years ago it would take me 100 requests just to get one add, and it was some mediocre chic. I would put my best music on there, too. Now with this profile, I just add hot hot hot babes and get almost every request. Now the trick would be to stay in character if I decide to meet up with somebody.

Lol, I sometimes talk to an industrial/noise musician on AIM (though personally I think his stuff is really good, especially the lyrics), and he gets laid quite a bit despite the fact that he essentially loathes women. Unfortunately, he hates himself as well.

I'm slowly concocting a theory about love from a masculine perspective. I've come to believe that when we meet a girl and fall in love with her because she possesses certain desirable traits, we tend to assume that she possesses all other desirable traits, thus projecting our ideals upon her (a bit like the Jungian anima) which leads us to the mistaken belief that she is perfect. The ideal situation is to spread this projection over several women who actually possess these traits instead of ascribing them all to one or two girls and facing the inevitable realization that the person you love is nothing but a construct of your own mind.

Yeah, basically this character is a combination of Trent Reznor, Jim Morrison, Richard M. Stallman, Jim Jones, My Dad (both a reverend and a true psychopath), Me (the thornier side), and this guy that lives in my building that rambles in the elevator incoherently when he doesn't take his medication.

The pictures are of me. The whole joke is that these people don't get the joke and they fall for it so they're fucking stupid. Which basically means that there's a narcissist behind the narcissist. There's so many layers to this its mind-boggling.

Determining your "best self" persona is part of some organizations bootcamps (I know MM does this) and making sure you project this with your look, openers, DHV stories, etc can be a key part of being congruent with cold approach pick up. I researched a few dozen personalities that I consider influential to me last year to work on this area (this helps with other areas also -I collected photos and film for each of the influences to see how they dress to copy their look, BL, etc)

I'd recommend checking out the Stylelife missions from last summer if you can get your hands on them, there were a couple of days devoted to identity creation that cover this aspect of pick up/attraction really well. Or check out the material on creating grounding stories in Mystery Method books

Well yeah, they're women. I too am extremely logical, and try to apply reason in any decision I make. I'm into Objectivism, which might be of interest to you. I have concluded that reason & women don't mix, and that stupid irrational nonsense works far better, therefore it is only rational that we emulate this nonsense if it helps us achieve our objectives. The Cube is a great example of this. Pretend like that bullshit works, because pretending that it does works towards our goal.

I'm totally down with this. We could make a band despite that exibits these qualities, and I'm sure we could have success even without musical tallent. We could go out sarging in over-the-top band clothes, and invite girls to come see us play. I did this several times with Brad P (He was dressed like a rocker, and I had my ska look going)--they always gave me their number and asked me to call...it was truely ridiculious. We should defeinately get 4 guys together, dress like a band and go out. If we could find a place to play, that would be super awesome--of course we could do it for free, which should allow us to get gigs--the club/bar owners don't know we're not a real band.

Of course, I fucking hate bands, but I like the idea of pretending to be one to get laid--not unlike how Frank Abagnale pretended to be a doctor/lawyer/pilot/etc. Of course, it's not illegal to practice music without a licenese

You may have something here. And to take it one step further, perhaps society has conditioned us to choose our mate based on character traits. But character traits are nothing you can really put your finger on. A person could have a certain trait as a cover for something else, or the trait can be misinterpreted. In addition a certain trait could be a learned response to a life experience. It is therefore flexible and changing. We are all in a state of change; in motion; in flux. A person is not like an X-Box 360 that you pre-order and get in the mail with accessories. You can't check your packing list and make sure you got everything you were expecting. Everything is subject to change or reinterpretation.

Perhaps a PUA needs to look not at a sum of the traits or positive aspects of a person, but instead gage what that person does for him overall. And if I gaged each woman based on what she's been doing for me LATELY, how would my perspective and value of them change? Most oneitises would be out the window, for certain.

I've come to the conclusion that the only person that I can count on to fill my needs is myself. And I do that through self-improvement, self-confidence, self-respect, self-acceptance, and self-love.

If I have the skills to bring different people into my world to get what I want and need efficiently, I don't need to count on one person to do it. I don't need to depend on the mood swings, disposition, or faithfulness of one woman to make me happy. I can make the reality I want, accepting whatever "friend" turnover is necessary to keep the wheel spinning.
