Yes.... go to Galveston I'm sure it'll be hopping not even 1 yr post Ike. If I were you I'd go to Padre.

A friend of mine went to Galveston 1.5 weeks ago. Most of the places aren't open yet...there's still lots of debris and shit everywhere...and it smells funny...not like the normal sea city smell...but like a "hurricane just turned this gulf upside down and it now smells like sea poop" type smell. I'd go elsewhere...

you don't have to be in school, but we get a week long break so I want to go all week.
