I think it's bull shit and this guy is just complaining because he tried PU but failed miserably :P

I don't think he failed in pickup.

I bet he did it, and was unfulfilled by the lifestyle. So, he began to question some of the ideas and theories (which you should be doing anyways). Eventually, he came to the conclusion that the way the Community teaches pickup is wrong. But, the end goal is correct (self-confidence, naturally attractive to women).

His site is called alphawithin.com, and it IS a pickup site. I suspect that the crux of his teaching is that you should be yourself, regardless of your success rate (which is a virtuous thing). And, that women are not play toys (misogynistic tendencies are way too prevalent in the Community).

He's just got another style.

First off, he's going under the assumption that men take everything they read, and run it verbatim for the rest of their life. When these methodologies tell you to do magic tricks, use these cocky/funny phrases, wear a fuzzy had and nail polish, etc etc...it's to break you out of your comfort zone, be able to display something other than shyness and extreme intimidation in public, and THEN find yourself.

His point about people devoting themself a bit too much to pickup...yeah I agree.

All in all, it's a sales pitch. He's trying to convince you that everything else is silly, but his stuff is the way to go for "real" men. Fact of the matter is you should be smart enough to make your own methodology after reading/studying works put out by these "gurus" anyway...that's called "doing what works for you."

Do you need someone to tell you what works for you? I don't.
