-restrained myself from hijacking other thread

ive done the business cards before but with mixed results. i used to use my work cards but didnt really enjoy putting so much of my life out there off the bat. the work related nessicity of professional cards was a dhv by most though taken by some as "playarific". im contemplating purchasing new cards with strictly my name, a clever ambigous tagline and my numberthough cant decided between bone or ivory (ref am. pyscho). im on the fence with this all together. experiences etc lair?

If you need a business card, you didn't pick anyone up...

She should be asking you everything about youself...where you work, where live, what kind of car you drive, boxers or briefs, top or bottom, etc.

The only advertising you truly need is how you carrying yourself in a room of people that are lucky you graced them with YOUR presence...

This is true BR. If you want a personal business card, come up with a truly artistic one with ambiguity that screams interesting. I had a friend that had one. It featured his name, the diagram of a man, I think one of michaelangelos works, and said, artist, lover, visionary. Captivating, huh?

A Long Long time ago I used to scheme of ways to get girls.

I didn't realize that all I had to do was just go talk to them and then ask for the number. Yes be bold enough to ask for digits.

I thought that if I had some clever scheme I would get a billion girls. One of my schemes was to get business cards. That way I could be a puss and just give them my card instead of actually maning up and asking for the number.

I never did buy business cards.

As some of you whom have come out to the Fort Worth events know, some times I get creative and write, "Do you like me?" notes on cocktail napkins and hand out a shit ton of them for guys to use. That's about as close as I'd get. Having a business card that isn't for an actual business seems creepy to me.

well, this is not a bad idea if you want to use styles number exchange using business cards. it also creates a bit of anonymity, because honestly, i dont feel comfortable giving ANY girl i met at a bar my work business card..i dont want them to have my work information...

I think business cards for getting numbers are obsolete with the prevalence of cell phones. Sort of an old habit from back when pen and paper was the standard.

It's probably better to put the energy into having a better interaction before you ask for the number (or she asks), instead of trying to use the best possible card.

honestly i simply see this as a form of peacocking, not some magical joker that always make the perfect hand, and ill let yous guys know if / when i do it..

I can see this working on a few girls but not the majority.

Definitely make it humorous and witty! And have a good response ready when she asks "do you give these to every girl in the bar?"

I've passed out a few of my (work) business cards when I first started this pua journey and nothing really came of that.

Knowing what I know now I wouldn't do it again. I hate it when car salesman give me their card and this doesn't seem much different!

There are more powerful tools to use than this biznizz card trick!
