Day 2 places - Dallas?

Looking for some venues for Day 2 with a girl, she lives in NE Dallas so should probably be in that area. Will be headed out with her Wed evening. Goal is quirky, entertaining, active - and the ability to move to more than one.

go exploring in the Dallas underground downtown. there's all kinds of things to stumble onto during the day. Don't forget, any mall, preferably unusual like that outdoor one on preston and mockingbird I think? Tis the season... do some christman shopping.
