GeoArbitrage and PU

One of the coolest books I read this year was by Tim Ferriss "The Four Hour Work Week". While alot of it seemed pie in the sky, alot of it is just plain cool and useful.

An interesting idea that is in the book is the idea of GeoArbitrage. There are two components of it, one is hiring someone like a virtual assistant to work for you in someplace like India or Pakistan and taking advantage of currency differences.

The other part is actually living in a country where your money goes further. Tim Ferriss actually did this in his book while he learned competitive dancing in Buenos Aires.

Recently I met a guy who works with me who was talking about working in Dubai, UAE. And they pay pretty well from what I hear.

Also I know a guy here who is dating a really hot brazilian chick. I found this girl really attractive and also her dispositon was different than your average American girl.

I'm not going to start singing Lenny Kravitz here with "American Woman stay away from me...." but some of these girls around here are wacky and jaded. Some are so A.D.D. you gotta neg them.

So why not go international?

Going to a club in Argentina, I'd look like a high roller. I'd be a high roller. Forget Dallas with its 30k millionaires. Forget Uptown. Forget Obar or SugarShack or whatever....
I'd be willing to bet 400 pesos I could live like a king in say Belieze and have a hot chica on my arm.

This is such a good idea. Maybe that's the next big thing....PU going international and the use of Geoarbitrage.

The last part of Ferriss' book reads like a vacation brochure of how to do this.

It all just hit me today like a brick. Why not?

I'm single. Nothing really holds me here. I can learn a language or two. Get Rosetta Stone software or something and be off.

So this is post #1 on this idea. I plan on doing some more research on this subject.

wow that sonuds bold and awesome dude. That can be one of ur fun adventure stories you can share. dude, keep in touch with us and let us know what you find out and etc. I am very interested. I might save up some money here and go international, too lol. I love brazillian, mediterranean chix lol.

Excellent book and definitely worth considering. I've thought about it myself. Right now I work from home and I'm working for a company in Austin. I could work from anywhere with internet. American income with international expenses could work out really well...
