interesting ST i didn't expect...

First, let me introduce myself:

I'm up in Denton, and am pretty new to this stuff. I'd heard a few friends talk about PUA before, but didn't really give it any credit up until about a month or two ago when I started to read into it.
Since then I've been trying out some of the stuff I've read, and I like the potential i see.

When learning something new I generally like to do my homework on my own first. Then once I have a good conceptual basis, I prefer to learn by observation (of those better/more experienced than me). I'm definitely looking forward to learning more from you guys about all this, and hope to make it to some of the events as much as I can.

Anyway, I was at the bar the other day with a few friends and I tried opening this HB7.5 at the entrance. The bouncer was checking her ID and giving her shit about how it was probably fake. I look over his shoulder and say "Nah man, thats definitely not her". She gives me a playful "omg you ass!" face and reaches out and slaps me (playfully, not hard or anything). I look her straight on and say "Oh you wanna fight?", where I told her I'd "have her on the ground in 30 no prob".
Anyway, I didn't really keep things going too long partly because the bouncer was still standing there between us...partly because I'm still a huge amateur in the art of stacking on the fly (I still go blank fairly quickly when I'm trying to read her and think about what to do next). Nonetheless the whole back-and-forth stayed playful and seemed to be doing well, so I told her to "watch her back" and rolled off.

She then found me about 5 minutes later and opened by saying "Hey, the bouncer said you and I need to fight", then she slapped me again....I said "Oh you like it rough huh?" and tapped her on the cheek. In retrospect I suppose I should have negged her a little more right after that (probably should've given her a little more shoulder/back?), but then she comes right back with another slap! She is still being playful (she's smiling and even grabbing my arm through most of this), but I begin to consider how this slapping might look to everyone else in the bar...and started to get a little self-conscious thinking I might look too passive.

Finally i looked her in the eyes and told her that, from there on out, she owes me a drink for each slap she gives me.....another slap.
So I say "Alright, I'll take a captain and coke", and she looks me square on and says "NO". I told her she had until the count of three to say yes "....one....two...." then I mimicked her voice 'yes!' and looked at the guy standing next to us and said "Did you hear that? Damn i'm good" she giggles and pushes me a little then......another slap! (still playful).

At that point I was getting annoyed by the slaps, so I gave her a disapproving look and just turned my back to talk to my friend. I almost felt like I could have re-opened her later on if I wanted, but I just couldn't think of anything on the fly to disarm her friggin slaps!

Frankly, I'm not sure she's a girl I would've wanted to take home if i had my choice of all chicks in the bar (mainly because the whole open seemed REALLY easy....which either means shes needy/clingy, or basic PUA tactics really are just magic :) ).

Thinking about the whole situation later, I decided that the best angle of attack in handling the slaps would be to handle them as shit tests.

Agree? Disagree? Anyone had something similar happen before? How did you handle it?
