i'd go but was just down there for 4 days, 3 weeks ago.

Rented a house with 20 people right on the river and were the party house as everyone floated by. Couldn't count how many times we had girls flashing us. I was on the dock orchestrating the festivities. :)

Ok looks like it will be the following hotel.

Hampton Inn
200 San Jacinto Blvd., Austin, Texas 78701

It is 4 blocks from 6th street. The girl said it was a 5 minute walk.

With all taxes it is $160 a night. This does include breakfast each morning for all 4 people so that is nice. I figure with the free breakfast and not having to pay for parking or a cab this is worth it.

I have not booked this room yet. So if anyone else has any other suggestions or knows how to get a discount please let me know. I don't think there is any urgency in booking as I can't imagine they will fill up all the sudden.
