Matthew Tully is one of the top hair designers in the US. And he's from Dallas. I saw a fashion show once (my band played at it) where he did the hair for all the models. His studio has other people working there, who give cheaper cuts, and they're amazing.

If not there, then go to Avalon over in the West End. Ask for Jillian. She's a badass. And they'll use Aveda products in your hair. And you'll get adicted to the Avida. Trust me.

I meant to post on this thread earlier coz it's a good one. I came to Dallas 6 months ago and one of the first priorities is to find a good place for a haircut and eyebrow wax. I would say these two things are the most important to keep up and I never let mine go longer than 3 weeks. It does make a difference.

I know what to look for and where to find them because I have moved like 10 times in the past 7 years and this shit is important to me. You need to be paying $20-$30 for a wash and mens haircut in Dallas and since you like the girl tip her another $10 every time. I never sarge the staff because that would be like shitting in your house. Good hair places are harder to find than good chicks. They ask me out and I deflect the advances. I can understand why some people would sarge but eventually you will figure out the value proposition is not there.

I recommend Jean-Phillipe Salon and it's on Lover's Lane.

my girl is MIA again (and she is proving to be inconsistant)

i agree with just about everything you said, what stylist do you recommend and what does he or she charge?

also where do you go for an eyebrow wax? i dont see that on their list of services

Angie is my girl but I imagine they would all be good. The owner's wife does brow waxing (and you too if you're not careful).

To be honest i'm pretty wasted when I get my hair cut but I would say $30 sounds about right but don't quote me on that. Wax brows is $10.
