OK OK... I wasn't freaking born in this country, so I had to look it up on ebay what the f is a Fedora....

And It just so happen I have one at my parents house.
It was from my late grandfather.

I don't have the guts to wear it in public.
BDUs, Motorcycle gear... no problem wearing in public.

If you don't feel comfortable wearing it then don't. If feel really akward wearing a piece of flair like a fedora then you will come across exactly that way, Akward. I know it works very sucessfully for many PUA as I have seen it in action but from reading your posts I think you are still building the confidence necessary to pull it off. There are other "Whats that" items that you could use to give girls an excuse to open you but I would keep wotking on building confidence and approaching before adding these types of implements to your arsenal.

You're kidding me right?
Cause that is actually who they are.

What JP2008 said is also very true. If you are not comfortable wearing it then leave it in the closet. I actually have a fedora but I think it looks stupid so I never wear it. Maybe one day I'll change my mind. Then again I may just use it as an opener next week, "Hey let me get your opinion, do you think my fedora looks stupid?"

Or whatever.
But the thing about the fedora and standing out and even the dildo, thats really not so much to do with fashion I think as it is to stretch your comfort zone. The more comfortable you are with looking different from the crowd, the more comfortable you'll be with doing things that others would normally never consider. A fedora is really just a hat. There is nothing special about it. Wearing one will not get you pussy. There is no magic there. But it will set how you look apart from other people since most guys don't wear one. Looking different will put more social pressure on you than you are used to dealing with. Learning to adapt to that social pressure is what you want to do. Being able to manage social pressure and deal with it well is a non-verbalized DHV.

Since the fedora was your grandfather's you can probably tie it into some nice little stories also.

But whats really most important is to be who you are. If you're not that comfortable yet with wearing something that odd out in public then don't. Find something that else that stands out just a little less and do that. But whats cool is if you try something and decide you don't like it then you can just put it on the shelf and go try something else.

So... Anyone know where I can get one of those little harness things to strap a dildo to my head? lol.

Imager. I would recomend you go out with some crazy over-the-top garb that would horribly embarass you a few times.

Wear a pink playboy top and school girl skirt, go out a few nights (probably not one near where you live).

Trust me.

Smirks and Dubya... Dude I am not kidding. I didn't know those actors fell down this far to be spokemens for PUA. You would think they are millionaries with choice pussy. Heck Corin was on Stargate.

I guess I am not comfortable with a Fedora. I don't know why.

About 5 years ago, I did do something called "The Road Adventure" and one of the exercises we had to do was wear something outragous outside of our comfort zone at Furr's Cafeteria. Some people had to cross dress and crazy colors. I had an easy one... Army BDUs.

Heck, I even worn Motorcycle outfit that make me look like a freaking Red Power Ranger. I thought we are trying to get girls and not look like a fool?

In order to get girls you must become comfortable with dealing with social presure. I recall Adam London saying something about how he doesn't feel social presure--this is where you want to be.

Go out, look like a fool until you become so comfortable dealing with social presure that you are able to safely navigate anything that you'll encounter when you're out sarging.
